The 9th District congressional campaign of Tom Graves, the former state House member, just sent out the following announcement:
Congressman-elect Tom Graves will officially be sworn-in on Monday evening in a ceremony on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives. The oath of office will be administered to Congressman-elect Graves by the Speaker of the House after the first series of votes Monday evening. Votes are expected to begin at approximately 6:30 p.m.
The phrase “Nancy Pelosi” is so very hard to type.

And jim still won’t address the E-Rate scandal in his own back yard, even though it was the lead story in the Sunday paper.
Still taking marching orders from Edu-PAC and the Chamber of Commerce?

He’s not being sworn in by Nancy Pelosi, he’s being sworn in by the Speaker of the House per standard rules. New members are sworn in by whomever holds that title, not the person themself. This is a non-issue, there is real news out there Jim, I promise.

Good to see Tom got a paying job. I wonder if his wages can be garnished now to pay off the 2.2 million he owes.

How will Tom Graves be able to meet his demanding schedule of court appearances and campaigning over the next few weeks? Will they let Tom Graves be sworn in wearing hand-cuffs?

…and introducing the latest embarrassing Congressman from Georgia: Tom Graves:
Denser than Phil Gingrey, crazier than Paul Broun, and dumber than Hank Johnson.
A trifecta! Congrats Georgia Voters. You surpassed Alabama and South Carolina in the race to the bottom.
Be hard to top Sonny Perdue though. That dude is worthless.

Breaking news: Unnamed liberal political columnist based in Atlanta has absolutely nothing to write about. The far-left Democrat majority government in Washington is in total retreat, and the Democrats in Georgia have been relegated to a minority likely to last for a generation or more. Disarray for the progressives. So our unnamed columnist “reports” on a straightforward press release from a newly elected Georgia congressman in a way intended to malign him.
The phrase “Jim Galloway is a pathetic hack” is so hard to type.

Let’s see if he gets any more embarrassing than Rep. Paul Broun today. A clip was played this afternoon on Hardball, he said all the old people were going to die because they could not afford air conditioning. Obama was going to raise their energy taxes. I have been to Europe where energy prices are twice as high, people have AC if they need it. Europeans just don’t drive huge gas-guzzling SUV’s like they do here unable to stay in their lane and parking too close to me. Republicans must really think people are uneducated and will buy their lies. It fooled Zell Miller.
Au contraire Mr. Hawkins

Georgia voters keep electing folks with those unsavory past. Look at all the supportive posts here. Default on your financial obligations and get elected to public office in this state. No wonder Georgia looks like a state of morons.

Hey jim, EDU-Pac on line 3. They’re on a conference call with Bev, trying to figure out a way to spin the latest disasters. Don’t think we don’t appreciate your help by ignoring the stories and doing fluff like the Graves column.
But we need a favor jim. Bev’s driver is off the clock, and she needs some breakfast. Be a good boy jim, and run down to the Waffle House for her.

Curiously, in a supposed anti-incumbent year, most of the departing are not retiring but seeking higher office. We may recycle more than we replace. The bad news is that a frustrating 114 seats still have but one contestant. Two of them aren’t even incumbents, meaning they will affect state policy without being vetted by voters. And I have to think that we’d be better off if many had run instead for the Legislature — and cut down on the number running unopposed. Georgia’s problems are numerous. They aren’t going away. There’s too much stale thinking at the Capitol, on both sides of the aisle. New voices would be welcome.

You dont care about freedom. You want protection. Money- from a provider. You will give up freedom, lie back, and service your leader in exchange for comfort.
You are afraid of guns. You are weak. You choose a Honda over an F150. There are no liberal ‘men’..look at Jay Bookboys pic. Christ.
I hate abortion babbling, chickenhawk, no beer on Sunday bible thumpers as much as anyone. That changes nothing. There is a reason most single women are Dems-married women vote rep-in general- they have their protector , leader, and provider.
Liberal guys are gay, or soft versions of men, or regular guys, seeking power over soft and helpless people. Not that theres anything wrong with that.

Liberals are socialist. We will have to overpower them soon and hopefully it is through elections. If you go by a person’s past then the majority of the Presidents admininstration should be ousted. Some continue degrading the south and yet stand behind a liar from Chicago. Chicago, now is that a bright and shining beacon? They are transplants not Georgians. Tom Graves claims to be conservative. Liberals are not complaining directly about that but simply attacking him personally. I guess the citizens of the 9th district would rather have someone like Graves than a progressive increasing government liberal.

Tom Graves was elected with massive funding from the “Club for Growth.” This is a NEOCON free-trade/open borders advocacy group. They say that third-world immigration “benefits” America.
Will Graves vote for amnesty for illegal aliens? We will watch and report.

Tom was one (1) out of three who voted for HR 5566, a bill which would allow small animals (cats, rabbits, etc. ) to be “crushed” to death from humans, for absolutely no reason. Wear light clothing, heard that HELL is rather a hot place to be.
