State GOP chair Sue Everhart has Karen Handel’s back on ‘pro-life’ label

Updated at 8:50 p.m.: From the Associated Press:

Georgia Republican Party Chair Sue Everhart says GOP gubernatorial candidate Karen Handel is pro-life as far as she is concerned.

Handel’s stance on abortion came under fire earlier this month after she was the only Republican candidate for governor not endorsed by Georgia Right to Life.

Handel has said she opposes abortion except in cases of rape or incest or when the life of the mother is at risk.

Everhart told the Atlanta Press Club on Thursday said she isn’t concerned with the exceptions Handel listed.

Everhart also says that Georgia Right to Life President Dan Becker is not the voice of the Republican Party, and that as much of a third of the party could be pro-choice.

Errin Haines of the Associated Press adds these direct quotes from Everhart:

“I don’t care what her exceptions are. Karen’s pro-life. Mr. Becker is not the voice of the Republican Party,” Everhart said.

Everhart’s remarks were made at a forum that also featured Jane Kidd, chairman of the state Democratic party. The Atlanta Press Club session was moderated by Denis O’Hayer of WABE (90.1FM), who has posted this sound on the abortion exchange, well worth checking out.

So let me get this straight….. God frowns on a couple who chooses IVF to have a child, yet he smiles on a 2x divorced skirt chasing pedophile who preys on 16 yo high school students? When did this type of insanity take root in our society?

What a totally chauvanistic thing to say.

Tom Murphy once told me – “you’ve got a lot of crazy people in your party”. He was right then and unfortunately we still do just as Democrats continue their vicious personal attacks instead of offering thoughtful responses on issues. And then there are the religious nuts who piously attend Wednesday and Sunday services convened by the local minister with the third grade education who performs tree surgery the rest of the week and whose declarations from the pulpit are accepted without question. One generation of such idiots is enough.

Doxa71 – Those states that enacted legislation mandating death for rapists found themselves with far higher numbers of dead raped women. Why? Because the rapists only had one witness, and if she was dead they were less likely to be caught. States with less draconian legislation have more live raped women.

Rape is a crime. Rapists are terrorists, forcing a woman to bend to their desires. So are those who would force that same woman to bend to their personal beliefs. Abortion is a legal, safe medical procedure that allows women to make reasoned choices about crucial health and life issues. The men who seek to deny women that procedure had best consider which critical medical interventions they are willing to have taken away.

Will Jones, a normally rationale person who just can’t help hating the Cat-holics. Replace Cat-holics with jews, and you have a modern day Nazi.

Georgians should always be better disposed to the common sense coming from a “local minister with the third grade education who performs tree surgery the rest of the week,” than anything coming from the mouth of a full-time pedophile priest serving the identified Roman Anti-Christ. The sooner Georgians, Black and White, recognize Baptists and Freemasons were right about Rome, as were our Black, and White Founders, the better. Georgia can turn America back to the right path. Obama was the right choice and “lesser evil” but there is much work to be done to free us of the Beast.

for those who fervently support abortion – what # of those abortions performed are on victims of rape & incest? A million? A thousand? How many abortions under these circumstances were performed here in Georgia? 25 last year? It is a frequent liberal tactic to latch onto the most unusual circumstance, such that the normal activity which is innately immoral and evil, can be justified. Please, those in the know, answer these questions, please.

Paddy O – decided to crawl back out from beneath the “rock” where you’ve been hiding? Bishop gave you some time off? Care to now deny publicly, before G-d, that you are a Roman Catholic priest, having frequently violated the tax law provisions forbidding you from taking sides in a political contest?

I don’t “hate Catholics.” Some of my favorite ancestors were Roman Catholic, but after figuring out Vietnam and the Kennedy and King assassinations, “on the ground,” and discovering America’s “whig” Founders explained it all in the 1700’s and whose prophesies permit any literate person to track through history the Roman Anti-Christ’s evil, usurping the Constitution and the People, up to the present day, I demand that any who would claim to be American, by the three mottoes of The Creed, look at the evidence and the prophecy, and the existence of only one Creator, G-d of the universe, with Whom America’s righteous Founders made covenant to receive this Promised Land, and “come out of Babylon.”

Those who refuse, and continue to fund Rome’s Rockefeller/Bush Big Oil “Fifth Column,” promoting illegal immigration, refusing to hang Rome’s 9/11-committing minions, Bush and Cheney, continuing to debase our currency and destroy our economy by off-shoring to Rome’s Third World slave plantations to reduce the eighty percent Working Class here, are traitors and must be addressed as such…besides their continued willingness to see their children molested or sent to false wars to “prove” their “manhood” trying to overcome having been molested.

You are no American, Paddy O. Time to admit it. You are a servant of the Roman Anti-Christ, along with the Gay Old Pervert party, and, unfortunately many RC, Mafia, and Mammon-worship collaborators falsely calling themselves “Democrat.”

C’mon “Paddy O”: deny you’re a Roman Catholic priest.

Continued ranting & raving – which is remarkable because few, if any, of the founding fathers were Cat-holic. Therefore, what dominion does the Vatican have over the US? Minimal at best. Freedom of religion & the banning of Congress making a law respecting the establishment of a religious order (except The Force), should continue to utterly prevent that which Will J falsely claims has already happened.

I am not a priest. I enjoy the sins of the flesh too much to be that dedicated.

So “Paddy O” has no problem with the Roman Catholic, Knight of Malta-led CIA’s assassinating John Kennedy after his NSAM263 ordered our military withdrawal from Vietnam (where the 5% Roman Catholic false elite owned 95% of the wealth), and for removing Rome’s bankers of the Federal Reserve from its unconstitutional control of our money (EO11,110); or with having only the Roman Catholics on the Supreme Court illegally vote to stop the Florida recount in 2000 (see Breyer dissent on ‘Bush v. Gore’), appointing as president a draft-dodging closet-queen whose grandfather, a member of the “Vatican-running” Knights of Malta, was money conduit from America’s Roman Catholic collection plates to the author of “I Paid Hitler,” his fellow papal “knight,” Fritz “The Rockefeller of Germany” Thyssen?

With one-third of Congress being Roman Catholic, a Congress, which approved NAFTA, that does nothing about the tax-free Roman Catholic Church’s published stratagem for taking over the U.S. by promoting illegal immigration, and the same RC bloc on the SCOTUS’ transparently fascist ‘Citizens United’ decision, can you actually pretend to believe the Roman Catholic Anti-Christ doesn’t have America by the throat?

Some Roman Catholics are also good Americans. How about you, “Paddy O”? Think you can reject the Creed’s three mottoes and deny a woman’s sovereignty over her own body and count yourself one of us?

“Keep it up with your purity tests, social-cons, and see where that gets you come GENERAL election day. I vote fiscally conservative and socially leave-me-the-heck alone, as do many of the R’s in my age group” says twentysomething. I am a fortysomething “R” and agree totally.

“We demand smaller government”, yell the tea party kool-aide drinkers…”oh, except when our social or moral beliefs are not being followed, then we need government rules to force our opinion on everyone.”

What a bunch of hypocrites.
