Clay Cox first to hit the airwaves in 7th district race

State Rep. Clay Cox of Lilburn on Friday will likely become the first candidate up on TV in the 7th District congressional race to replace John Linder.

Below is the introductory spot, which touts the Republican’s support for the Fair Tax – Linder’s baby – and an endorsement by Atlanta Tea Party Patriots:

This is a phenomenal spot! The support for the Fair Tax is there, but more importantly the slashing of federal spending and deficit is the focus. Oh and they shot it in Lilburn, nothing fake there.

Plutocrat and Vietnam draft-dodger Steve Forbes, whose grandfather was the Robber Baron’s flack helping cheat through Congress in the “middle of the night,” the Federal Reserve and Internal Revenue Acts, is behind the “FairTax” and FreedomWorks and the “Atlanta Tea Party.”

The “FairTax” is a straight-up scam to lighten the tax load for the rich who gave us Bush and Cheney, and to saddle the People with the debt load and other deficit spending costs they’ve laid on our backs.

The answer is expropriation of fascist plutocracy’s “Fifth Column;” not allowing ourselves, particularly in Georgia, to be fooled by fools touting Steve Forbes’ “FairTax.”

Anybody talking about getting America right without hanging Bush and Cheney first for 9/11 is just another shill for traitors trying to “climb on board” fascist plutocracy’s “merry-go-round.”

Uh, Will… Steve Forbes doesn’t like the FairTax. He ran on a flat tax platform.

Keith here’s a “google” of Steve Forbes’ latest front “FreedomWorks AND FairTax” http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=freedomworks+fairtax&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=CEcqIQ4oFTLC4GpLmygT9kKD3BgAAAKoEBU_QGEXI

If you are American, let’s not get hung up on the particulars of plutocrats jockeying to grab more money and power.

Both the Flat Tax and FairTax are regressive. America’s Founders, revolting against the Old Sectarian Order of king and pope, were fully cognizant of the threat of “pseudo aristoi” and the fascist plutocracy now in place in lieu of the sovereign People, and believed taxation should be progressive.

Forbes is just “switching”: getting on board the “FairTax” hoax.

Reply to Will Jones: Mr. Jones, have you taken the time to read anything about the details the Fair Tax offers? From your comments it sure doesn’t seem like it.

People of America, please do not listen to me or Mr. Jones, go to http://www.fairtax.org and read for yourselves how the Fair Tax (not Steve Forbes “flat tax” nor President Obama’s Value Added Tax [VAT]) can and will save our economy by taxing us when we purchase a new product or service. The Fair Tax will expand our tax base from 140 million over burdened tax payers to 310 million consumers. The Fair Tax will compell
all certified Americans, illegal immigrants, tax dodgers, 40 million foreign tourists that visit us every year, the entire black marketeers that pay no taxes now and workers who evade taxes by getting paid in cash to pay their fair share of the cost to run our government. Every time we purchase a new product or service we will pay our fair share of taxes. Now isn’t that better than the broken system we have now? The IRS simply takes your hard earned money up front, before you get a chance to use it for your own purposes. Just think how much you can raise your families standard of living by having the income and with-holding taxes put into your pocket for you to use anyway you like.
People read the details of the fair tax….. you will be amazed.

The FairTax is regressive.

Disprove the above statement or admit to being a shill for fascist plutocracy…a traitor against the People.

Mr Jones: You are a hoot!! The Fair Tax is levied on all Americans at the same 23% (inclusive) rate. Everyone pays the same tax on each dollar that is spent on a new product or service. To offset the taxes paid by families with incomes at the poverty level or below a “prebate” check from the fed is sent at the beginning of the month to all certified American heads of households. This means taxes paid for essential products and services are paid for by the prebate check up to the poverty level. Every family will receive a check for x amount of dollars. Even families making 2 million dollars a year. After all it is the Fair Tax. So, Mr. Jones, make what you will of my explanation, I’m sure you will have some choice words for this “shill”. All I ask of you is to read up on the Fair Tax before calling it’s advocates “traitors”.

Thank you in advance.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regressive_tax check it out. The Founders were on record for progressive taxation…for the reasons made even more obvious by the fact that it is plutocrats and their shills now touting the FairTax…to lower the taxes on the rich…and to get the “proles” (i.e. the Working Class) “under control.”

It’s a regressive tax…save your “prebate” accounting control of the plebs. You are not American, free, or a man.

Hey Will – you know Jefferson was as much what you label Forbes as right? It does not take much to see his deeds and words never matched. I really hope you are not rallying around Jefferson after that diatribe.

He could have saved his money, it’s not like he has any real competition since Balfour dropped out and Shafer stayed out. He could sit on the couch and do nothing until November and still walk into Congress. My question is, once the primary’s over, will Linder go ahead and retire so we can have a quick special election. Why wait until November to get the new member into a safe seat?

Hey Red – G-d anointed Thomas Jefferson – a Virginian, a true man, buried at Monticello, with thousands of blood descendants – to author the Declaration of American Independence when the Continental Congress was in the process of caving and fleeing to see to their families in distant colonies, as all Philadelphia knew a Tory war-fleet for military conquest of British North America was debarking eighty miles away on Staten Island.

Just as you obviously are no American, so too is it transparently obvious that you are G-dless.

Should you ever become open to higher knowledge, perhaps after moving out of your mother’s basement, consider reading Jefferson’s and Adam’s “post road correspondence”: it is as if one placed one’s “hand in the wall socket of G-d.”

Meantime content yourself as a “freeloader” on America’s “train,” if you actually have “citizenship.” Perhaps you’re just a “Fifth Column” papist “busting” the Genius of America who prophetically identified Rome as “the real Anti-Christ?”

Regardless, those who disrespect America’s Author, Founder, and Prophet are worthy only of contempt, and accursed.

Your “intellect” is lacking. You are 0 for – well, let’s say you cannot get anything right. Not godless, not a Catholic, am a citizen, taxpaying full time working family man. Your “hero” Jefferson was an elitist of the highest order in his design of higher learning. Read the founding of UVa. And I guess his repeated raping of his “property” – yes. Odd that such an enlightened man would find time to have sexual relations with a piece of his property. His slaves had no rights of humanity but he had his way with them. Amazing how “property” would bear his children. The hypocrite would talk about inalienable rights and how all are created equal. I guess only if they were white, learned, property-owning males. Looking at your rant, I suspect white sheets with a dunce cap in your closet. Better be careful about things in the closet as well.

Red – In your rejection of the ideals of Jefferson and the truths he wished promulgated at The University – Locke and Sidney – you possess in yourself only a fraction of an American and a man. As you claim not to be G-dless, ask humbly in prayer, the Creator of all, and see if divine Providence didn’t intend Thomas Jefferson to be the Prophet his writings prove him to be, and an anointed gift to Humanity, establishing the individual as sovereign over king and pope, recognized from Bolivar to Marx to Ho Chi Minh in all succeeding History. Or perhaps you’re fixed on your own conceit?

Slavery, a universal constant since the dawn of time, ended within two generations of his inspired founding of the United States, and had his original draft of the Declaration been left unedited by the Continental Congress – at the Signing.

He was a young man when his wife, whom he married as a widow, passed. On her deathbed she hypocritically forced him to swear on the Bible in the presence of their family and relatives, that he would never remarry. Her half sister, and unmatched beauty Sally Hemmings, hopefully – as the science is not perfectly definitive on the subject – the envy of all American womanhood, was a source of joy, inspiration, revelation, wisdom and love to Our Nation’s Founder.

If in violation of the oath his dead wife extracted from him, he “married” her, look to the fate of Mr. Jefferson’s mentor George Wythe, whose “housekeeper” and mother of his heir, raised “as if” he were Wyethe’s son, was forbidden by law to testify against the nephew whose poison murdered him to speed a hoped for inheritance.

He was virtually worshipped by Monticello’s African American community for it was to them and their heirs he bequeathed “technical artistry,” cultivating Agronomy, Carpentry, Masonry, Plumbing, Nail and Wine Making, Plastering and all the trades, now forsaken, in large part, by “white” America, yet honored in America’s Black community.

The sons and daughters of Radical Protestants, Huguenots, Scottish Highlanders, Vikings, and Jews have made Barack Obama our president only because of The Creed and the ideals passed to us by Thomas Jefferson.

There is but one G-d. This is Its “Garden of the World” into which all nations flow to comprise a righteous, holy Nation.

Try looking at The Big Picture. You didn’t kick it off. He did…on G-d’s time. Get over yourself.

John Linder was a dentist, and he knows how to fix things. Clay Cox makes most of his money with PROFESSIONAL PROBATION SERVICES, so he’s just right for the future of the USA. He helps heap on the laws so that there will always be plenty of business in INCARCERATION and PROBATION. I’d vote for Cynthia McKinney first, and that’s the worse thing I can say about CLAY.

Clay Cox is bad for Georgia! What about his runaway spending and tax credits for the rich corporations while he was in the state legislature. We don’t need him to send Pelosi home–we need him to fight for working class families. He is another crook that wants to take our rights and keep his. Just look at his bills sponsored in Georgia legislature. It’s a shame he has raised the money. I am very scared of Clay Cox.

Clay Cox is just another in a long line of empty suits. His intellect is practically non-existent. He appeals to the worst elements in our society because they are far too stupid to recognize a conartist when one is speaking to them. the bills he iontroduced in the House were examples of his own avarice. These bills were breathtakingly shallow and obvious. He needs to do Geoprgia a bigg favor anmd go home and count all tghe money he’s earned at the expense of probationers. If this is the best that the Atlanta Tea Party has to offer, they’re more intellectually disabled than I thought they were. God help us all!!!

Clay has this thing wrapped up. He’s the only one in this race with touches of Reagan and Newt. If anyone out there in the 7th district of Georgia is for the FairTax or anything close to it, Clay is the guy to bring it back to the table. @Mr. Grumpy-I don’t think you know Clay at all. He has a strong conservative record that everyone around him ought to be proud of. @whataliar – What? You need to credit Clay for helping corporations to create jobs. Thank Clay the next time you’re at Walmart. @Will Jones – A deadbeat like you needs to be institutionalized. You obviously can’t work or join the military so you are basically useless to society.
Clay Cox is qualified to go to Congress and with that beautiful wife, Washington will look much, much prettier.

God Bless,

Mr. Grumpy, where did you learn how to spell, in prison. You should not be allowed to vote because you know nothing of the facts about what you are saying. I am sure you were or maybe still on probation. If we could keep more idiots like you off the streets and the web the world would be better off. Do yourself and others a big favor and check for the truth about candidates instead of making yourself look like the idiot you are.

Bill and jr keep telling people to “check the facts” because they’ll show a “strong conservative record.” And then we point out key facts about his record (a la HB 619, HB 622, the 2010-11 House budget which included major tax hikes on hospital beds; and finally his claim he participated in lower the spending costs when the reality is the fiscal crisis DEMANDED reduced spending no matter what. There wasn’t a dem out there or middle ground republican who would have had money to spend. So Clay is disingenuous about his spending records, he on the record as voting for increased hospital tax beds to the tune of 216million per annum, and his legislative prize pet is HB 619 and 622 which directly benefit his own company.

That’s not honest. He’s not responding to any of these issues either because he does not have an answer, or he is too ashamed of the greed and misuse of electoral power he misused at the expense of the georgia taxpayer.
