Arizona just took its place in the Georgia race for governor. This from a press release issued by the Republican campaign of Nathan Deal, the former congressman:
“I agree with the Arizona governor and Legislature that the federal government has failed miserably at protecting our borders and enacting sensible solutions that would protect our states, counties and cities from bearing the enormous costs associated with illegal immigration, from emergency room visits to public schools to the criminal justice system,” said Nathan Deal. “As governor of Georgia, I’d work to pass and sign similar legislation.”
The necessary background from the Associated Press:
Under the new Arizona law, immigrants unable to produce documents showing they are allowed to be in the U.S. could be arrested, jailed for up to six months and fined $2,500. That is a significant escalation of the typical federal punishment for being here illegally — deportation.
People arrested by Arizona police would be turned over to federal immigration officers. Opponents said the federal government could thwart the law by refusing to accept them.
Supporters of the law said it is necessary to protect Arizonans. The state is home to an estimated 460,000 illegal immigrants and is the nation’s busiest gateway for people slipping into the country. [Arizona Gov. Jan] Brewer has ordered state officials to develop a training course for officers to learn what constitutes reasonable suspicion that someone is in the U.S. illegally.
More from Deal:
“It’s perfectly appropriate for state laws to complement federal laws. States are within their 10th Amendment powers to draft laws that deal with a huge, dangerous problem.
“States along the southern border have faced war-like conditions triggered by the violence of drug cartels,” Deal continued. “What we’ve seen historically in Georgia is that problems trickling over the border eventually flood over the border and strongly affect our state.”
Don’t be surprised if other Republicans quickly join in.

And if there was only some way to identify them…perhaps making them wear something. Say a star on their clothing. And make it yellow so they stand out. One could say that would be the Republican Final Solution to the Immigration Problem.

Former President Bush promised to close the borders and discovered that fences alone don’t help. Maybe we need to increase the border patrol but please not the National Guard because they are not trained as border patrol agents.
States can and should be able in increase the size of the police force if necessary to fight crime. If there is a crime problem in AZ, it is local law enforcements and elected officials problem and they should clean it up.
By the way, I could be illegal. .

Do you suppose that Nathan Deal would support this.. Please pass the microchip law
I think we should catch ’em, we should document ’em, make sure we know where they are and where they are going,” said Pat Bertroche, an Urbandale physician. “I actually support microchipping them. I can microchip my dog so I can find it. Why can’t I microchip an illegal?
“That’s not a popular thing to say, but it’s a lot cheaper than building a fence they can tunnel under,” Bertroche said.

Please make it to law in Florida too. We can’t find jobs, but every single “illegal immigrant” is holding some type of job, from house keeping to restaurant servers, casino workers. Marriage fraud is blooming and illegal immigration is out of control.

Montezuma`s revenge was once the diarrhea of Americans when they visited Mexico, but his revenge has now been upgraded. He is now sending 50 million hungry peons across the Mexican border. The ancestors of murderous Cortes will know how it feels to be enslaved by working long hours for little pay. It took many years, but Montezuma has finally gotten his long awaited revenge.

Who carries this type of paperwork everywhere the go though? So does this mean if you look Mexican they can just ask you for your documents…what if they are at home, then what? This was NOT thought out carefully. More than HALF of illegal immigrants are working for Republicans anyway. They work on farms…for little pay to support their families. This is actually going to hurt more than help. Prayers go out to the TRUE citzens of Arizona.

Would Nathan Deal be willing to enact a law stating that homeowners are responsible if illegals are mowing their yard, painting or doing handy man chores and will be fined $1000.00. The word knowingly is intentionally missing. Businesses should be fined more.
AZ passed a tough law against businesses hiring illegals but they did not enforce it.

FIrst thing we do is chip all the white people so we know they’re safe and legal, since they have their papers… Then you don’t have to actually carry your identification papers with you like in the old USSR days b/c it’d be in your arm~
Illegals take the jobs lazy white kids won’t take because it’s beneath them – just ask the owner of a restaurant – poor work ethic, etc. Same in the construction industry – the builders i would talk to talked about how wretched native born workers of both ethnic persuasions were, and the dedicated workers were the illegals.
The hiring market for illegals is there for two reasons – the one everyone talks about (low wages) and the one that doesn’t get talked about (lazy US citizens who make crappy workers)

What is wrong with you people? Illegal is illegal period. When did we start worrying about the rights of people who should not be in this country in the first place? Maybe you make enough money that you don’t mind paying for every other countries poor and maybe you don’t mind the extreme amounts of violence that is coming across our borders. If not, I suggest you move to the AZ – Mexico border and live there. When you are the constant target of drug cartels maybe you would change your mind. When you can’t get a job maybe you would change your mind. When your kids go out, would you feel safe in knowing that they will be back? If you don’t live in this area and don’t feel the effects first hand, your opinion means squat. Oh wait, I know, maybe you should just blame Bush. That is all you and your president seem to be able to do nowadays anyway. I am sick and tired of working hard every day to pay for other countries poor and to pay for bailouts and further fund your spending obsessed president. And here is a tidbit of information for all of you…. Bush is not president, is not running for president, will never be president again… GET OVER IT!!! Obama needs Bush to blame for all of his failures. That is the rule to politics, make the people scared and then tell them who to blame.

What happened to keeping Federal Government small. If AZ has a problem with crime, they need to deal with it. New Mexico is on the border and they seem to be able to deal with it. Those of you who don’t like the law should vent your anger not at AZ, but at the Federal Government, which for many years – including the Bush years – did nothing about the illegal invasion of our southern border. Now it is creating huge problems in schools, health care, the state budget, and employment.
The USA is the only developed country that does not enforce its immigration laws. It is a shameful neglect of federal responsibility for cynical political purposes, and it has to stop. Both parties are guilty, and I admire the “cajones” of the AZ governor and Nathan Deal to take a stand.
Here’s an idea: try entering Canada or particularly Mexico illegally and see what happens to you.

Its about time that states across rhe nation like arizona are finally taking steps to stop the war-like invasion of Mexicans cross the border illegally, and and steps should also be innitiated to stop legal immigration as well. The country of mexico has been at war with the USA, and Texas etc. Inn the past and they supported Hitler during World Wars 1 and 2, and are a communist 3rd world country. that joins our border. And make know mistake about they are attempting a takeover of the USA, through ECONOMIC PENNETRATION (another form of warfare) and the Illegals coming overto the USA are buying houses, getting on welfare, reproducing and corrupting the economic and socials systems that rightfully belong to americans, These practices have been going own for many years , and the federal government just keeps giving in to amnesty programs etc.and as a result, MEXICO has darn near taken over the USA. We can’t have the same relationship with Mexican Immigrants illegally in the country as we do with other nationallitys of immigrants over the world because their just across the Rio Grand (border) and as law makers have admitted seemingly uncontrolable as far as their illegal entry in to the USA. Those Mexican Illegals Hate Americans they have contempt for us , think the USA should belong to them already, and they are breaking every law they can break. They have no respect for Americans.and It is the duty of the USA government to stop them before the USA is taken over and we are taking our flag down and putting up the Mexican Flag. I don’t want to be under communism myself, and as a Texas , and a US Citizen. I will do what I can to stop it, and I hope other states will work together with the US government to send a message to the Illegal Mexicans cartels etc and to the Country of Mexico, that the People of the USA are fed with their attemted takeover of the USA. Our borders should be closed to trade, and immigration and enforced with the US Army in order to Immediately stop the problem and the states should have authority to protect their own constituency and those rights should always belong to the states. thanks WDB.

I might add that the state of Oklahoma and Arizona are the only states that are getting tougher on mexican illegals . Texas should also follow them soon with this same tough legislation, It was reported on the local news in december of 2009, that Texas now has over One Million Mexican illegals in the state of Texas. I am a Democrat living in Texas,Born in Texas, I have known a lot of residents that are of Mexican decent, and their decendents also once fought to gain indepenence from Mexico, that feel the same way as I do concerning our relations with Mexico, and the states rights to protect US Citizens as well as the US governments responsibility to control the border in and by whatever means necessary. All the talk on the news concerning racial profiling is a bunch of BS. and undermines the rights of the people to be free in their own country. the mexicans should stay in their own country, and they wouldn’t have to worry about racial profiling or (getting caught). before they can buy property in the US. Currently its a win win situation once here they buy property. have children, if caught ,their family rents their houses illegally to renters that don’t now enough to check the courthouse records. and their familys forward the rent money on to them in Mexico. (MONEY LAUNDERING) the American Dollor, and any children born here automatically become citizens, and so its a continuous cycle that must be stopped ASAP or WE won’t have a USA any more, and we will be under Mexico. Thanhs WDB.

I think conservatives’ irrational fear is showing again. You people deserve Nathan Deal. You know what he did for me as my congressman for 8 years? NOTHING. There is not one extra job in Pickens County because of anything he did. This guy ran unopposed 8 times because you numb-nuts would continue to re-elected him each and every time, and he continued to deliver nothing. His constituents set the bar for him so low it was laying on the ground. And they did so gladly.
I swear to God, this mindless, nonsensical conservative ideology is going to drive the state into the ground. Are there any true conservative critical thinkers out there? These politicians are playing you for a bunch of fools.

Let me get this straight. Nathan Deal was elected to Congress as a Democrat in 1992. He conveniently changed to a Republican in 1995. All told in Washington for 18 years as part of the “federal government.” I don’t recall his introducing legislation on immigration during any of that time. Gee, I wonder why this legislation is so important now?

This law is nothing more than legalized racial profiling. How will we apply this law to the illegal Canadians. Hasn’t Arizona just made appearing Hispanic a crime? A better question is why do we have illegal immigration in the first place? Are these millions of illegal immigrants robbing banks and murdering people everyday? Or are they working at jobs that American Employers hired them to do because its cheaper than hiring legal American Workers? Start arresting people who employ illegal immigrants from the CEO to the plant managers. When American Employers are serious about only hiring legal workers, see how fast the illegal immigration problem solves itself.

The difficulty will be in enforcement. Citizens of the United States do not have to carry papers to prove it, period. Pretty sure the fourth amendment covers this. They’ll have to have a reasonable reason to check papers, because citizens don’t have to show them. I’m also pretty sure skin color won’t count as a reason, and speaking a non-English language would also be a hard sell to hold up in court.

I lived in Germany for 6 years. The people there were very nice. They spoke English with me on some occasions, but expected me to speak German with them as well, since I lived there for so long. When I visited the government offices, no one spoke English, and all their official papers were in German without translation into English. They explained to me that I lived in Germany by choice, and if speaking German in an official setting upset me, then I could very easily leave and move to an English-speaking country.
Those bloody Germans. Man, are they backwards.

I’m so disappointed on the people that are writing such negative things about illegal people. Has anyone stopped for a second to think and to realize that we are speaking about PEOPLE, human biengs. I’ve never been to AZ or know anyone that lives there, but in the whole country there is crime, even in the cities/states that no one ever hears about, once in a while some crazy white kid tries to kill everyone in school for example, i dont mean to be racist, but that’s what it seems like with most of the comments on here. #1 not all illegal people are from MExico, #2 most illegal people now did not come in this country illegally, many overstayed their visas, which doesnt make it any better but they did come to the country legally. # of the illegals came when they were very young they were brought here by their parents, and have actually been raised here and would like an opportunity to succeed. Lets not stereotype, just because some are criminals doesnt mean all of them are too. Many people came here for better lives, And unfortunately have not been giving a change to apply for at leat a permit to b here, so alot of what’s going on is b/c of the governmnet, this should have never happened, It’s like kids, as a parent we have to teach our kids to do the right thing but when they do something wrong it’s not all their fault is our fault b/c we have to teach them right well same thing with the gov’t if they would have made chages along time ago, taht way illegals wouldn’t b able to cross the border, if it wasnt so easy then they wouldnt do it. The language problem, that’s also something the gov’t chose to do, if they have spanish speaking reps welll, …..Bottom line is that you cant be so cruel, and it’s allways better to have track of the people that are here, but filling up jails with innocent people instead of cracking down the REAL criminals is not going to do any good, Remember dont stereotype, just b/c the group of hispanics you brought home broke in doesnt mean every hispanic/latino is a criminal.. This is so sad….

Okay Everyone, there is a misconception that Blacks are for illegal immigrants getting amnesty. I am here to tell you that is so far from the truth! The majority of Blacks in America do not want amnesty for illegal immigrants from Mexico, Central America and South America. Why should they get first dibs on citizenship when there are people from Haiti, countries in Africa and other places who would like to become US citizens. I agree there must be immigration reform to cut the red tape but those who are here illegally should not be allowed to become citizens unless they pay back for the services they used, i.e., health care, education costs, etc. and pay a hefty fine of $20,000 per person. If not, they should be on the fast track back to their country. Also, why don’t they go back to their countries and march for better treatment and resources?
In the larger cities, Hispanic gangs are taking over. They are bloody and cutthroat. We can’t accommodate our own criminals, now Mexico is dumping them out of their prisons and letting them free to come to America. And, what sickens me the most, is when Hispanics have the audacity to compare their plight to the Civil Rights Movement. Blacks in America marched for their rights as USA citizens. How can one feel so pompous as to think you should force a country to take you? I am calling on all Americans, Black, White, Red and Yellow to put aside our differences and come together to force Congress to pass effective and non-amnesty immigration reform!

Illegal immigrants are simply illegal. When we recognize that those living here with all the benefits of citizenship without the burden of contributing to our society through paying taxes, etc. are destroying our country, only then will people act. Go to social services, social security or a hospital emergency room you will hardly see an english speaking person applying for benefits or any type of assistance. I guess it is coming down to this… If you pay taxes and want to protect your children’s future you must be a racist!! That word is so worn out and the use of it so pathetic!
Since only half of the people in this country actually pay taxes of any kind anyway, I guess the other freeloaders don’t mind someone else providing a handout to other like minded individuals. Look at what is happening to our schools, healthcare and other entitlements. You would think that the freeloaders would want to protect their ride for a few more years?

Another thing, I cannot understand how children of illegals born in the US get automatic US citizenship. That needs to change. Children of illegals born on US soil are NOT US citizens. They are also ILLEGALS!!!! This only encourages more illegals to sneak into the US to bear babies to give them US citizenship. Not only is this wrong, and unfair to the many legal residents who wait at least 5 years for it and study for the citizenship tests, , but the illegals are also getting free maternity care at US hospitals without paying a dime.

The 14th amendment was meant to protect former slaves and ensure they had all the rights of every other American citizens. It really shouldn’t apply to the children of illegal immigrants but will unless another constitutional amendment is passed stating that at least one parent must be an American citizen.

Yeah let’s shoot all the mexicans and send the black people back to Africa so they can stop complaining about their 40 acres and mule. Maybe we can get Arizona and Deal to start that movement too! if there are no Mexicans than there are no illegals, if there are no black people than there would be no ghettos. White people make this country great. Oh wait the problem is that they don’t want to get their hands dirty, they rather engage in Wall Street ponzi schemes, and suck their fellow Americans dry.
How many Americans lost their Pension due to Enron and Worldcom?
I think that majority people on this board, Jan Brewer and Deal should go back to school and get educated because ignorance can actually be cured!
Maybe if Americans would stop buying Samsung, Nokia, Sony, Toshiba, Toyota, Honda, etc than we can take the country back Oh Wait if that is the case we would only have Cars and electronics that would stop working after short period of use, gas guzzlers and cars that break down a lot so that we can keep buying parts and at 100,000 miles have to buy a new because that is the American way.

Further explanation on why the children of illegal immigrants should become citizens. If we take that incentive away, then illegal immigration would decrease.
http://www.14thamendment.us/birthright_citizenship/original_intent.html
Also, deport the illegal immigrants who already have children who are citizens and arrange with the Mexican government to set up clinics in the borders cities of Mexico. Mexico will pay for health care for their citizens and the US will allow the parents to buy a health care policy under the new health care reform that was passed. There should be no free care!

What is missing from all of the immigration debates has been an explanation of the legal process of immigration.
Its almost completely uncommunicated. People shout, “We don’t dislike immigration! We dislike ILLEGAL immigration!” However, that is never followed by an explanation of what the legal process is.
Perhaps we should take a look at that process and find out why so many are avoiding it. Maybe we would find that the process is slow and out of date. Maybe we would find that by changing that process, more people would go through the legal means.
What I am trying to write is, maybe its too hard to become a legal immigrant.
I think we should at least explore that avenue.

Sure, African-American. Arizona republicans really hold you in high esteem.
Sen. John McCain (Republican of Arizona) voted against the creation of the MLK holiday, and later defended Arizona Republican Governor Evan Mecham’s rescission of the state holiday in honor of King created by his Democratic predecessor. After his opposition grew increasingly untenable, McCain reversed his position, and encouraged his home state of Arizona to recognize the holiday despite opposition from Mecham.
In 1990, Arizonans were given the opportunity to vote to observe an MLK holiday. McCain successfully appealed to former President Ronald Reagan to support the holiday. Following the failure of the 1990 proposition to recognize the holiday in Arizona, the National Football League moved Super Bowl XXVII from Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. That occurrence is was what ultimately turned Arizonans in favor of observing the MLK holiday.

Be careful what you wish for and allowing some in government to do, because once you start down the road, it will eventually come around to you. You all need to go back and read about how Nazi Germany started out, which ultimately started them on the road to killing off anyone who was different, and not blond and blue eyed. How many of those here would not exist in that type of society? How about the Crusades? Remember, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely! Always remember history, and you may want to re-read 1984 because we are so getting there….it’s just happening later.
Politicians will do and say anything to stay in power, especially now that the economy has tanked and they likely aren’t qualified for regular jobs. They get a lifetime payout, so the longer they stay in office the better for them because we the taxpayer support them all for life.

Well, it looks like radical onservatives have finally found legislation that really appeals to them. How many American citizens will have their constituional rights violated because of this illconceived “law”? Will an “Oh, I’m Sorry” be sufficient recompanse for a violation? And how many of those arrested will be Hispanic. A law like this does not solve the legitimate illegal immigration problem. It is like the sweeping of a broom that will hurt primarily American citizens who will ghet profiled because of their ethnicity. You raduical conservatives finally have a law you love– just like the laws passsed and enforced by Adolf Hitler and his Nazi storm troopers. If you had a collective conscience, you might be ashamed of yourselves. By the way, how many of you are true Americans, real Americans? If you aren’t Native American or have Native Americam ancestry, you have no right to call yourself a “real” American. Someone of your ancestors came to this country — some legally, some illegally. Illegally crossing our borders is a crime. Why does any effort to enforce immigration laws face such resistance? If you don’t like the law, work with your elected representatives to change it. Otherwise, it needs to be enforced like any other law. We are a representative republic with laws passed by duly elected representatives. Imno, here is a brief overview of the H-2B visa process. You can find the details on the USCIS webpage. It would be impossible for an employer to demonstrate that there are insufficient numbers of temporary American construction workers. You could perhaps get a student visa but you would not be able to work legally with that visa.
The H-2B non-agricultural temporary worker program allows U.S. employers to bring foreign nationals to the United States to fill temporary nonagricultural jobs. A U.S. employer must file a Form I-129, Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker, on a prospective worker’s behalf.
To qualify for H-2B nonimmigrant classification:
* The employer must establish that its need for the prospective worker’s services or labor is temporary, regardless of whether the underlying job can be described as permanent or temporary. The employer’s need is considered temporary if it is a one-time occurrence, a seasonal need, a peak-load need, or an intermittent need
* The employer must demonstrate that there are not sufficient U.S. workers who are able, willing, qualified, and available to do the temporary work
* The employer must show that the employment of H-2B workers will not adversely affect the wages and working conditions of similarly employed U.S. workers
* Generally, a single, valid temporary labor certification from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), or, in the case where the workers will be employed on Guam, from the Governor of Guam, must be submitted with the H-2B petition. (Exception: an employer is not required to submit a temporary labor certification with its petition if it is requesting H-2B employment in a position for which the DOL does not require the filing of a temporary labor certification application)

The new “king” is Vatican banker Rockefeller whose family bank is now the Iraqi State Bank, yet to be brought to justice for financing Hitler from collection plate of the Roman Catholic Church, and four five generations “fronted” by the Bush/Walker, Roman Catholic/Knight of Malta clan.
The papists on the SCOTUS cheated Prescott Bush’s draft-dodging, dry drunk, closet-queen grandson into office to commit 9/11, for more oil and to profit from false war.

The whole asking people for their documents is RACIAL PROFILING., Illegals are only here to do the jobs other people wouldnt do. i dont see white people working out in the fields or in the chicken plants working for minimal wage. They dont mean no harm to anyone, we just want to work and make a honest living. I would understand if their hurting or doing illegal things. They just want a better lifes for themselves and their families. America is a FREE LAND.! if you want to talk about illegals arent we ALL illegals.! This land belongs to the NATIVE AMERICANS., just think about before it.!

The prophecy is that all nations shall flow into one new Nation – the New Israel.
Black, White, Jew and Gentile “whigs,” fleeing king and pope, built this Promised Land by G-d’s grace and the three mottoes of The Creed.
Rome is the Anti-Christ from which we escaped – the Old Sectarian Order of king and pope – caesaropapism.
Illegal immigration is being promoted by Rome as a tool to destroy the non-Roman Catholic American Middle/Working Class. Should one doubt this fact, one need merely read their published stratagem to that effect: “The National Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry.”
Innocents willing to depart the Babylonian priesthood and its “Black Aristocracy” behind the Bush/Cheney/Rockefeller “Fifth Column,” which killed Kennedy and King, financed Hitler, and committed 9/11, all to subjugate The People and to send us to false war, can assimilate in our culture if they are willing to become American.
Rome’s “Fifth Column,” promoting illegal immigration to “take back” Our Country, must be purged as the treasonous sectarian faction it is, most particularly led by the Gay Old Pervert party, the SCOTUS majority, and its bi-partisan bloc in Congress.
America must return to its “whig” roots.
“Whig” means “anti-Roman Catholic.”
Americans don’t wish their children to be molested, so why have the pedophile priesthood on our shores? The border must be sealed. Rome’s minions, Bush and Cheney, must hang.

Dang, some folks just don’t get it. Try this. Hold the CEOs of Georgia construction companies, Georgia farmers and meat packers, hotel and restaurant chains criminally liable for hiring illegal immigrants. Include: (1) a $100,000 fine for each illegal working for the company; and, (2) a mandatory minimum jail sentence of one year per illegal. Then, you will see a decrease in illegal immigration. Really, it’s not that hard. But, Nathan is tight with the Chamber of Commerce and I doubt he’ll ever favor a workable solution.

Make the Arizona bill standard in every state in the union! Demand that the SAVE Act and E-Verify be mandatory for all businesses and individuals who employ illegals. Eliminate the misinterpreted 14th amendment. Jail employers who hire illegals and bar landlords from renting to them. This ought to take care of most of the problem. Those who are foolhardy enough to stay can start building the fence, then will be deported. After that, line the border with military. Not too many illegals want to come face to face with a big, tough Marine! Then, tell the countries whose leaders and people laugh at our laws that we will no longer be their dumping ground.

It makes me laugh at the hypocrisy of the liberals when they claim conservatives are reacting irrationally to the problem of illegal aliens when they themselves are going into histrionics about AZ becoming a Nazi state, the false claim of microchipping illegals and claiming the passing of the new law is legal racial profiling. Knuckle-dragging neanderthals every one of them.

Just another paper law. Like those “other” paper laws, expect zero enforcment nor funding. This is the game. Pass meaningless laws to placate the population while allowing business as usual.
It’s certainly not enough to get upitty about. The last US President to atually enforce US immigration laws was Ike Eisenhower. That will not happen again due to PC, ‘political cowardice’.
The USA will become an hispanic nation by 2050. Don’t believe it? Check with the census dept. for proof. Anyone that doesn’t like it should leave.

Oxendine will try to be more conservative and make another outlandish comment that makes even people who agree with him shake their heads in disbelief…Handel will be for it before she ends up against it. The Sad Thing is That most of the republican people here only refer to “mexicans”
as if mexicans were the only people that came to the USA undocumeted, There are
French, English, Irish, Spanish, Portuguese, Italians, Australian, Rusians,
German, etc….. All white people whom just blend in perfectly with the kind of population
our republican friends would like to have living among us, and is ok for them to be here
because they came here legally even if they over stayed their visiting permits, but they came with a visa so they did the right thing. Now for those critics that think that’s ok wouldn’t it be the same thing? crossing iligally or just taking advantage of the fact that you over stayed your tourist visa because you fooled an ICE oficcer making him believe you were just coming for a few weeks but had in mind all along to stay here for ever.
now on the other hand we have all those “mexicans” that may actually be Guatemalans, Puerto ricans, Cubans, Colombians, El Salvadorians, Ecuatorinas, Brazilians,Agentinians, panamenians,
Peruvians, Real Mexicans or maybe an unlooky Asian who is misstaken by a funny looking mexican.
Now Counting illegals from all the world, there’s supposed to be 11 million undocumented people
personally a think there is a hell of a lot more than that what should we do with them, being realistic
we are not going to deport them, we are not going to put chips on them, They are going to keep working, their kids(most of them born in the USA) are going to go to school,They are going to keep driving with out a licence (because is unlawfull for them to have one), No licence means no insuranse, We keep pushing with our laws that are maakin us look like The new Nazy Germany.
Yet we keep making things worst. Personally I Believe that we should push for a real solution for this problem but lets make it a realistc solution.
sorry about my horrible spelling.

Billy, you need to stop pecking. Go back and tell the liberals you were not able to divide us. Plus, Americans are all different pigments! I have enjoyed African_American_USA_Citizen posts. Thank goodness for the Internet because with all the misinformation in the media…I think Americans have found one issue most can agree on. Elected presidents could only dream of 60 and 70% of the votes. Comparing illegals to blacks is way off base. Illegals choose to break the law and come here! I am sick of the reasons/insults illegals give for justifying being here. Illegals are hard working; Americans are lazy. Illegals are taking jobs Americans don’t want; Americans prefer welfare. Illegals are law abiding; Americans are racists. Enough.

Why enforce any law? Heck, sovereignty does mean anything. Yes, I am aware that individuals from all around the world have stayed/came illegally. Then there are the “idiots” who do things the correct way to become US Citizens. If I lived in another country, I would be one of those poor “idiots” waiting to enter legally. When individuals chose to have their children here, they knew the chance they were taking. I do not believe in rewarding bad behavior. It only brings more bad behavior. If this country, its people, and its laws are so horrible, then why are they dying to get in and hiding to stay?

way too many useful idiots on this commenting board. Seriously, comparing enforcing our immigration laws to Nazis? Do you know what Mexico does to IT’S illegal Aliens? Smoking pot affects your brain, and is probably the reason you can’t make a rational thought, and can only repeat what is fed to you by your ‘progressive’ handlers. Wake up! Every legal Alien/permanent Resident is required to carry proof, and so is every American visiting another country….

In answer to Shawn, April 27th post… You carry ID on you at all times, don’t you? or most times? It’s called a driver’s license. Having a state issued driver’s license means that you have proved legal residency in that state. Legal aliens living in this country also carry ID – a card in their wallet – at all times. AZ isn’t asking for sheaves of paper – they are asking that you carry some form of ID stating that you are legally in the states. It’s not that hard. It’s not asking anything of them that the law doesn’t ask of us.
As for the majority of the other comments found here – all I can say is this: go live there before you judge the situation. You may think what the state of AZ has to say is crazy or stupid, but you aren’t in their shoes.
Besides, the state of AZ may think the same of the state of GA – a state with plenty of water (esp in comparison) who can’t figure out how to share said water supply with neighboring states. AZ lives on less than 6 in of rain per year and most of the state is a desert – yet they can successfully grow crops, fill swimming pools, water lawns, have fountains in their hotels, and, oh yeah, drink it with no problem.
Merely pointing out that each area of the country has its problems, and until you’ve lived for several years in that area, you might ought to keep your inane comments to yourselves.

Either enforce the laws of our country or take them off the books. I’m tired of lazy Americans and fat politicians.
At some point some guy driving drunk is going to kill a bunch of people, and then cite that he should be given a free pass because our laws are not enforced evenly such as illegal immigration. Hey if a fat guy can sue a fast food company for making him fat, this is easily within the realm of possibility. We are Greece in the making.
Hey open the borders up and allow people that really want the American dream. Take away our welfare system and you’ll have many Americans up in arms because illegals have taken up all the jobs and the government can no longer support them.

Nathan Deal got my vote with his bold stand against the THIRD WORLD INVASION OF AMERICA. I look forward to ads depicting immigrant-gutted pestholes like Buford Highway, Gainesville and Dalton with a voiceover “…do you want this in YOUR community?” Third world immigration, really an INVASION, is the ONLY issue in this race.
Pat Buchanan was right when he stated if we had to take in one million immigrants from two other countries and were given choice of origin either Sweden or Somalia, it would be little mystery as to which group would be a better fit with CIVILIZATION.
To those whose heads revolve around and spit green bile at this analogy, I close with a reminder that the Founding Fathers passed the Immigration Act of 1790 to keep undesirables out of the US. Google it and enjoy.

OK number one, if we can’t find a job is because we are not willing to get paid the minimum or under the minimum wage, work over 70hour per week , work under unhealthy and unsafe conditions ,work with no health insurance ah and work with no coffee break; And this guys find a job because most Americans are too lazy or they have too much pride to do the DIRTY JOBS. Also if this guys find a job is because there are AMERICAN companies willing to hire these people with full acknowledgment of their legal status but they don’t care, as long as they make millions of dollars exploiting illegal immigrants. And also remember that this companies are AMERICAN OWNED. Let’s face it, how many times have you hired a “Mexican” to do your Yard Maintenance, just to save some dollars. It is not their fault that AMERICANS give them AND PREFER giving them jobs.
Respect to the violence DRUG DEALERS exist everywhere is not a Mexican, Colombian, African problem, there is AMERICAN GANGSTERS responsible for the violence, prostitution and other problems in places like LA, NEW YORK, CHICAGO. So the drug cartels in Arizona have nothing to do with the hard-working people from other states.Because there is AMERICAN PEOPLE who’s involved in murders, sexual violence, extortion and more.
So this laws are cruel, thoughtless and anti-american; Remember liberty and justice for all.
