The bright side of spending $1,900 at a bondage club
Good news today for Republicans everywhere. Stormy Daniels, the former porn star running against U.S. Sen. David Vitters of Louisiana, the GOP incumbent, has switched her party affiliation.
Daniels has decided she’s a member of the GOP. And she cites the spending practices of the Republican National Committee as the deciding factor. Her announcement was posted by WGNO-TV in the Big Easy:
“As someone who has worked extensively in both the club and film side of the Adult Entertainment Industry, I know from experience that a mere $1900 outlay at a club with the reputation of Voyeur is a clear indication of a frugal investment with a keen eye toward maximum return.
“And I firmly believe that it is precisely this type of creative and calculated investing that we, as taxpaying Americans, should expect not only from our political parties but from our government. The American taxpayer deserves consistent conservatives who reject wasteful spending and unwarranted government intervention in the private sector.”
Others weren’t so impressed. This just in from the Washington Post:
A Republican National Committee member from New Hampshire resigned his position with the embattled national party on Tuesday, telling Chairman Michael S. Steele that “the committee has clearly lost its way.”
Sean Mahoney, one of 168 RNC members who elected Steele, said the scandal involving the RNC spending $1,900 at a risque California night club is “the straw that broke the camel’s back.” He said he was resigning in protest of what he considers inappropriate spending of donors’ money.

Michael Steele has to go. We are tired of hearing the word race from the Democrates and know when he is in trouble Steele uses the same old word race. Taking Steele out and putting someone more angry, perhaps lighter skin, cultured, etc. will make contributors more comfortable, but it will not help the party in the long run. We need to expand our tolerance of those different from ourselves, if the tent is to “grow”. Tolerance.

Has Armageddon started yet? Here’s the brightside, every major poll has the Democrats losing big time in Nov. The RGA, NSCC, NRCC and other right leaning groups are out raising the democrat party by 3 times. They are doing all they can to take the focus off the unmitigated failure that Obama and the Democrat party have been. Brightside, hmmm that is odd. The reports by the RNC and DNC show that the Dems raised $13m in Feb, $1.6m more than the Reps $11.4. The DNC’s March total is at least $18.5m compared to the RNC’s $14.4m. But I’m sure you’ll claim that to be more liberal lunacy.
I can’t wait for November either. Since you all didn’t take the last loss very well, there will probably be suicides in Nov when the GOP fails to retake either chamber of Congress. But in the spirit of bipartisanship the GOP repeatedly rejects, I as a Democrat say if thinking, very wishful thinking at that, keeps you calm, happy, tame and stops you from joining militias and spreading your hate then I will pretend with you that the GOP is going to win it all! woo hoo.
