The morning post brought this word from Randy Evans, the longtime Republican counselor and confidante to Newt Gingrich, who is in Copenhagen to attend the climate change meetings:
Today, I have enthusiastically endorsed Representative Bill Hembree for Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives. He has the skills to lead without all the baggage for Democrats to use in the 2010 election year in their bid to regain control of the Georgia Legislature. I will write more about this next week.
Until then, Merry Christmas from Denmark. Randy

Poor Bill Hembree. He may well be a great choice for the job, but to have a confidante of two time looser Newt endorse you sure does muddy the water. What did Randy know about Newt and current wifey and when did he know and why didn’t he blow the whistle?

How strange. And why is Randy in Denmark at the climate change meetings? In what capacity?

“without all the baggage for Democrats to use”
Once again, the Republican establishment just doesn’t get it. They’re not upset at the nasty behavior of their fellow Republicans, they’re only upset at getting caught and having the deal with consequences. Funny thing in all of this is that it hasn’t been the Democrats stirring the pot but rather other Republicans, some of whom are dishing out the dirt because they want to opening in the higher ranks they can move up into and some because they’re sick of the betrayal of conservative principles.

Great piece last week on the Richardson saga, Randy. Your ability to divine the future is astounding.

Randy Evans is part of the “problem.” Just “can’t see” the Big Picture – like George H.W. Bush “couldn’t recall” his whereabouts upon hearing of JFK’s assassination, and how W. just couldn’t frighten the children and put down “My Pet Goat” – and gets rich serving corruption.

Randy belongs with Newt, I hope it is out of Ga, Gov got his midnight tax break from Glen, maybe it was 2 am, now Gov has his 700 k fund, where is the Glen fund going, has he spent it, or loaned it to his bank
Everybody knew right after Glen took his lobbyist to Athens what was going on, all his cohorts condoned it and swiftly swept it under the rug, sleep with a dog and get fleas, you all deserve each other, now we have to woryy abount what is wrong with Bill if Randy wants him.

“Randy Evans is part of the “problem.” Just “can’t see” the Big Picture – like George H.W. Sounds like will jones may have done. Oh wait, will jones having a wife?
