Neither of these candidates are going to be able to do anything for the city. Atlanta will have to wait another 8 years to begin to get out of all its problems. Turning into a 'has been' city isn't that fun, isn't it?

Just like all the blacks voted for Obama because of his race...I'm doing the same for Mary Norwood. It's time for a change!

Kasim Reed has this election wrapped up! All these phony charges by norwood supporters will not stop Kasim from winning the election. All African-Americans must turn out in force to keep an African-American in office as mayor!!!!!

On a list where cities don’t want to rank near the top, Atlanta is the 18th worst city for crime, according to a new list.

Washington, D.C.-based publisher CQ Press examined FBI statistics for murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and motor vehicle theft when determining its annual rankings, which have rankled public officials for 16 years.

Camden, N.J., ranks No. 1 for the most crime, St. Louis is No. 2 and Oakland, Calif., is No. 3 on the list.

Among Georgia cities, Macon is 26th, Columbus is 55th, Savannah is 116th, Athens is 196th, Sandy Springs is 274th and Roswell is 339th. Both Sandy Springs and Roswell have crime rates below the national average.

@ This Just In: Just because Reed has an explanation in regards to his past due taxes, doesn't mean that it was, or is, a lie. The fact of the matter is more so that Mr. Reed didn't care that the taxes were not paid (or credited correctly, as he claims)until this past July right before he paid his qualifying fee to run for mayor. This is yet another example of why his integrity should be questioned. I am glad that the taxes were either paid or cleared up, but why was he not concerned about it before?????????

Mr. Reed, didn’t care that your property taxes had not been paid before running for office, now, not only have they been paid, but you have great explanations for why they were not paid before. Why didn’t you care that they were not correctly paid before??

If you trust Jim Galloway for impartial "reporting," please don't! He is an opinion column, not true reporting. Also, why are the specific addresses of Mr. Reed's properties not listed, but Norwood's address is specifically listed. Just some more "whys" in regards to Reed and his "machine" group.

@Rick
Honestly I can barely even comprehend parts of your post.
Which is why I found it so very very funny you were specifically asking why someone was calling [you] dumb and illiterate.
And when my city is in financial trouble, examining the candidates ability to handle their own finances is completely relevant.

The person on the video walked right by Reed signs to steal Norwood signs. And even if the signs were on a public right of way, wouldn't it be law enforcement officials who would have the legal authority to remove them.

And let's not forget the Norwood signs, found in a black Nissan SUV, parked at Reed campaign headquarters right after sign were stolen on private property.

And let's not forget the physical intimidation of witnesses by person in the Reed campaign field office.

Did you really think you were going to be able to put this issue to bed Non-Issue? You greatly overestimate your abilities if you did.
