Just happen to run across this article today. A whole lot of adoo about nothing! Yard Signs??? Really people, this discussion is about as backwards as two left shoes! Need I say more? Yes, I believe I will. Search the records of the candidates and report back which one has done more for the City of Atlanta during their elected terms in Office. Recall the debates and report which candidate shows a better grasp of policies, and issues, facing Atlanta. Which candidate represents a new direction for Atlanta? Which candidate has the support of the people AND his colleagues from the Gold Dome as well as from City Hall?

Which candidate showed up to feed the hungry at Turner field, and actually stayed on line to serve for hours as he has done for years and which candidate showed up for the first time and did not have time to serve one meal for those who are destitute? Which candidate did not seek endorsements from icons such as Young, Borders, Ministers, Lowery. etc. but they came anyway? Which candidate is articulate and will represent Atlanta well in any arena? Which candidate broke all ETHICAL practices by campaigning on taxpayer money for eight years, and is still making excuses and spreading tall tales about the operations of City Hall in campaign ads? 150,000 sewer lids not fitting??? Enrod operations??? Which candidate spent more money than any other council person that triggered an investigation by the AJC and the ethics commission? Well, need I say more?

Let’s be real. Everyone knows that when people steal campaign signs they don’t take them back to their campaign office. Hell as stupid as he is, even Ralph Long knows that. For as many sign as he is reknowned for stealing, he can open up an accredited school on it. Now he’s producing film? I wonder how many takes they had to do to get it right for the set up. Run across MLK yelling “Quiet on the set!” . Idiot. Wonder if he’ll make a commercial for the sign school and run the ad during Jerry Springer?

It is a sad day, and a moral letdown, in Atlanta when onve votes to keep the same type of politics that has preceded this year for around sixteen other years. When one goes to vote and elects a candidate who will carry on the tradition of ‘cover up’, ‘use of office for personal power’, ‘bad financial decisions’, ‘let the city and neighborhoods run down’; one who knows little about the heritage of Atlanta and the building of Atlanta; one who knows few of their constituents or really cares about the individual person; one toooo busy to visit and sit down and find out what IS important to the voter; one who will use each and every one who voted for them as a ‘personal stepping stone’ to the next level without giving ANYTHING back; who is so arrogant to believe like their predecessors that they are above the law (think of all the past mayors and/or direct family and political connections who have been indicted and served time)…yes, this is what Atlanta has been so trained to do and still cannot vote on a clear and moral conscience…this is the REED support environment… they love the crime on the streets, love the run down homes and neighborhoods, they have no moral standing or conscience within themselves…they are proud to be immoral…they love REED…
your vote for REED will endorse everything mentioned here…look in the mirror…is this the REAL person that you were raised to be???? you want more and better, but you want to continue to swim in the ’sewer of the past’….ever ask yourself ‘WHY’…???? Please ‘wake up’ and give our city and our citizenry pride and respect back…take a stand, be strong, be the person your MAMA really wanted you to be…get rid of this ‘blight’ on Atlanta…. vote for a new and revitalized Atlanta…give someone an opportunity who really cares about the city, but more importantly, YOU… NORWOOD..

These are the win at all cost tactics the Reed brothers employ on political campaigns. Until now, the highest they’ve been able to rise is the Georgia state house, where Kasim had just one vote. But let them gain the reigns of executive power for a major government like Atlanta, and you can expect to see the same amoral, unethical tactics employed to benefit their political cronies, of which there are many. It will be Bill Campbell on steroids.
