Wow is this what goes on in the Atl this whole conversation reads pretty stupid...just so you all know I don't believe all of those illiterate comments made to seem like they came from black supporters of the black candidate but why are we not seeing comments of the same kind from the other camp, hmmm.

"Everyone knows that Rev. Mitzi Bickers and her gang are the main culprits of intimidation and harrassment."
I just the video of the guy stealing the signs and he was returning them to the campaign office where Mitzi Bickers was working. Emmanuel was right!
Please keep taking videos and photos. It's the only concrete proof.

I personally witnessed a high level political Reed staffer who had signs (Norwood) in his car parked at campaign headquarters and I called the police. Police never showed and I notified the Norwood campaign along with the media. If Reed and his operatives will lie, steal, and cheat to get into office, they will definitely lie, steal and cheat when they are in office. Reed is responsible for his staffers actions as if they were his own. He can't tell us the Chief of Police, CFO or COO he hires took some action that we can't blame him for....he hired them. So whatever they did, they did on his dime but my prayer is he never gets the opportunity to do it on my dime. I AM black and I AM voting for Mary Norwood AGAIN!!!

I'm black and plan on voting for Kasim because he's the better candidate and also I like having a black mayor in this city. Go live in another major city, the legacy of Atlanta and the opportunities and prgoression for black folks is higher than any other city in America. I do note that our leadership has not been great, but I cannot imagine a white lady with no real leaderhsip shown to move us forward. Simple as that.

I chose this new handle because Mary Norwood's supporters (I hear Roman Levit himself is now the main poster on here for her) cannot clearly articulate why we should support her, so they are resorting to stealing handles. It's sad that they are not capable of rebutting the facts that I share on these threads, but that's a tell-tale sign of a faultering campaign.

Now, let me shed a little light on why endorsements are so important and why Ms. Norwood has been caught lying again. In political campaigns it is the candidate's job to market him/herself to the constituency and essentially sale themselves as the best person for the job. It's kind of like getting letters of recommendation for higher education or a new job. Kasim Reed has done this well and the proof's in the name i.d. pudding. This man went from 4% at a time when, not even I knew who he was, to 49% in the polls. I am an honest person and I am willing to admit that he is being backed by the establishment, but that isn't a negative in my opinion. Ms. Norwood sought many of the same endorsments that Mr. Reed earned, some openly and others behind closed doors. Norwood went on record with an appeal for Lisa Border's to support her, she also had press conferences to announce to the public the endorsements of Able Mable and Glenn Thomas. So, it is a tad disingenious to all of a sudden dismiss endorsements as unimportant when she is actively seeking them herself.

Endorsements represent is a candidates ability to build consensus and work with other leaders and stakeholders. I'm sorry folks, but Ms, Norwood hasn't demonstrated any ability to lead this city beyond being accessible and quite frankly that leads to many political leaders being very weary of supporting her openly. Many want to see change at city hall, but they just don't feel that Norwood cuts the muster. The stakes are too high. I'm not suggesting that Reed is the greates leader since Maynard but I am suggesting, that all discerning voters take a look at each candidate's record. You will see that he has done extensive work on a number of issues and has borne results. Ms. Norwood, on the other hand, has been real busy too but she doesn't have the accomplishments. This reflects two critical, 1. her ability to focus and her work ethic and 2. her lack of support from other elected officials. Seriously, a chief executive is only as effective as the legislative that respects them or finds middle-ground with them.

Kasim will win, because he has clearly demonstated that he gets the job done and the record reflects as such.

I'm moving to Orlando. Atlanta has gotten crazy. :)
Now if you disregard their races and just read their answers above to the questions asked... you can tell who would be more capable of running the City of Atlanta. Vote wisely people!
