Time for Change at APD...

"Officers lied to a judge to get a search warrant for Johnston's home. They shot her six times, handcuffed her, planted drugs in the house, and then tried to coerce a witness into telling their fabricated story. he event caused a deep breach of trust between police and citizens."

"Matt" is probably the unfortunate promulgator of an online publication no one reads because it posts pro-Norwood baloney "news" alongside ads bought and paid for by the candidate.

No, I'm not PoliticalOracle--I'm "proud that Reed..." and "White Person for Reed." I thought I knew who PoliticalOracle was, but when I asked that person about it, he gave me a pretty convincing answer that he wasn't. Who do you think that is?

APD is so crooked - this is hardly a credible endorsement. They're scared they may actually have to be held accountable to the Citizens who support their funding - the people who they are supposed to protect and defend - not terrorize. It's just a shame that they rely on shady politicians to enable them and their inept organization.

@insider
"Not one"? There were at least 30 police officers at that Reed endorsement event and that was in the middle of a busy weekday when most of them are either working or, if they work morning watch, at home with their families. The fact that 30 of them bothered to jump through the hoops necessary to drive to the 'hood in southwest Atlanta to show support for Reed says that yes, they DO endorse him and yes, they DO support Sgt. Kreher. They were hugging Kreher and shaking Reed's hand, and they were very glad to hear Reed say he's going to restore their step-pay increases, something that you might have noticed Norwood never, ever talks about. That woman doesn't give a crap about police officers.

Any candidate that thinks that making Police take furloughs is an acceptable option earns my disgust. It was what turned me against Campbell and it is what has turned me against Norwood. Screw Mary Norwood.

Atlanta cops haven't been allowed to vote on an endorsement yet. Our union's executive board keep telling us who we endorse. Not one police officer, other than the executive board, has endorsed Reed or Borders.

Its getting ugly. I belive if Kasim wins Buckhead will seek seccession from atlanta then we will definetly have a ghetto town and the black elites will not be able to save it not that they were trying to in the first place! look at all of the major cities run by our black men! Ghetto cities we need buckhead money. if mary wins her friends will stick around to clean up this mess that over 30 plus years of DEMOCRACY has done to atlanta Kaism take a walk on the wild side of atl u hav not campaigned in the rough neck places also congrats on your avalanches of endorsements but remember the more enorsements you get the more favors u owe u want this mayorship for a career a calculated political move up the next rung of the ladder u are not concerned about the average brother or drunk in southwest atl pissing in the alley! oh well...next comment
