I am 16 years old, and am good friends with his son, he is going through a rough time, but dont we all? Instead of putting him down, maybe we should be praying that God will help him thorugh the things going on in his life. I think that everyone saying he is a scumbag should think twice about that, because from my view, you are the scumbag for saying that.

2 and a half years? He’s been a nutcase as far back as 2003! No one should pitty that man for any reason. I personally hope this means the end of politics for him. If he still wants to run for a higher office so bet it, we’ll just air more of his dirty laundry at such time.

Knowing for years he was this sick, the disrespectful egomaniac never had the respect to step down. Nor did his family report it. AHHHHHHH!!!! His FAILED suicide selfishly added more problems on those he was to serve. Selfish people never succeed at suicide. Never. He and his family are selfish people. And a FAILED suicide he will now want to get paid to speak on, write a book, make the rounds again with the book. America is great. All want to move here and do this crap.

It would be beneficial to all of us if our elected leaders would just resign when faced with a crisis of conscience over their behavior in office and the conflict they feel for violating their oaths of office. Suicide is certainly not the answer.

I hope he gets the help he needs, and uses the time to consider his votes on mental health care issues. Perhaps things will be clearer to him. He needs time out of the limelight and fishbowl, to take care of himself with the kind of mental health care available to the “common man.”
