Wow...Broun did something that makes sense and doesnt involve him calling someone Hitler. Still don't like him and his 15 minute phone messages though.

Currently all cell phones are SMS capable, or accept and can send text messages. It would make more sense to allow the EAS to send alerts to cell phone owners. The alert will be received on all phones now and not tell cell phone manufactures to add costs to their product. It doesn't sound like these two Republicans are following the GOP standards and staying out of telling business how to market and adding a new tax to Americans. Rethink it Gentlemen! ( if this is what their bill really does!?)

Yesterday's weak tea party proves that the "movement" here in Georgia is just that, weak.

This state still belongs to the Republicans. The dominate Republican in this state is beholden to the Christian right. As such we must follow the spirit of the law. We must demand consistency in our laws.

Encourage your lawmakers to attach a bill that would block and black out all cell phone activity on Sundays and Christmas Day. You should only be talking to the lord on Sunday. Its time our Blue laws were updated and join the 21st century. By all means get that FM tuner in those cell phones, but lets make sure only Christian church services are being aired on Sundays.

Georgia, the Red state with the Blue laws.
