Update 9:03 p.m.: Now, Mary Norwood has moved ahead in the race for mayor with 46 percent and 5 precincts reporting. We’re not going to give precinct-by-precinct updates as that would just be pointless as the race could change from second to second. But keep watching.
Original post:
It’s only 3 precincts in the Fulton County portion of the city of Atlanta, but Kasim Reed has 50 percent of those votes.
The county is reporting Reed with 50.09 percent of the vote, to Mary Norwood’s 30.83 pecent and 14.82 percent for Lisa Borders. No one else is above 3 percent.
Again, it’s a few precincts, but it’s the first real numbers of the night.

I think the Braves need a left fielder and a first baseman. That’s the important news in the ATL.

This shows how much the Obama agenda is failing. Your next mayor is going to be a Republican and I’m beyond thrilled to see what’s going on up in Virginia and New Jersey of all places! I know that God is watching over us and we are seeing that the conservative movement is strengthening while the liberals are going down in flames. I knew this was going to happen. Finally, the right people in America are coming back into power and taking it back. Next year at this time, we will see Pelosi and Reid go down in a bloodbath. Barack Hussein Nobama is an utter failure and disgrace. He ought to make a speech tonight to tell the nation that he was a major mistake. May God and Jesus bless this beautiful Norwood woman who will lead your city into a bright future.

Norwood a republican? REALLY???? Is that why she came out with an add praising the work of Obama? Guess that means that republicans truly have to disown themselves to win? We truly appreciate the opinions of individuals like Bill White on our board who so eloquently demonstrate the intelligence of a republican. LOL!

Any of all three candidates: Mary Norwood, Kasim Reed, or Lisa Borders would make a good Mayor. Newsflash Bill White: All are reasonably liberal (read: They CARE about people) and I thank God for that.

Sorry Bill, but Norwood isn’t a republican, she’s an independent and horror of horrors, voted for Obama! Go check out her website. She came out as his supporter early during the presidential election. I hope she wins, and I’m a democrat. As far as VA and NJ, Deeds was a terrible candidate and both running in NJ seem so corrupt, what’s the difference who wins?

I think the Braves first priority is to unload Lowe and get Hudson signed. We use Lowe’s money to go after Holliday.

Bill White is confused. The utter failure and disgrace is back in Texas. Obama has to clean up the mess left to him by the right wing religious idiots that ruined this country. God needs to help Bill find a brain. Mary Norwood has said repeatedly she is not a republican so why does Bill say she is?
He’s so desperate to be part of a winning team.

What a Joke that anyone would think “God is watching over us” and we all know God is a Republican right Bill White? What a typical, Uneducated right wing dumbass. You prob. think Sara Palin would be a great President…..lol. Just Stupid. Obama has not been great so far I will give you that, but I would say ONE year is not enough to blast him as a Failure.

Bill is a bit confused because Mary Norwood is not a Republican and did in fact vote for Obama. My friends and I are doing the happy dance at the way things are shaking out in other parts of the country.!!

No, friends. The real story tonight is the shift of jamal anderson to interior lineman and putting Kroy beirman at Defensive end. It worked great last night !! Man that coy wire is abeast-man. john Abraham is the Falcons all-star best player, period. And how about Jason Elam? Stinking up the place wasn’t he? We better start to scour the free agent wire for a kicker. However our prority remains an effective DB …… didja see that jump ball interception by Grimes? He might be a dwarf, but he’s an athletic one!! We might have lost but we showed the nation we can compete and be in a position to win any place, anywhere baby !!

Bill is right. Many of you out there don’t dare admit your mistakes by voting for Barack Hussein Nobama born outside of U.S.A.,, and for cowardly reasons no news station has the guts to bring up the subject and have it investigated! I’m not a Republican and now hope for their comeback, but as hell didn’t want his guy for President, he’ll end up ruining our great country.
p.s. What ever happened to his illegal aunt living in the states?? Was she ever deported or did they find an illegal way to keep her in the states??

I wish you hypocrites and bigots would not use the name of God and Jesus in your blogs. Bill you are are a bigot and hypocrite ,read the red lettered part of the bible. It reefers often to helping you fellow man, poor and weak. If you can only win by deceit and stealing election as the republicans did in Florida I pray for our country. I don’t appreciate the disrescpect to our president. I am also a white mountain man that finds you intellectually challenged.

You mean there was an election in ATLANTA? I hope Bobby Cox got voted out.
The GOP got us into this? You mean we had no problems before Bush? If anyone thinks Bush is the reason for our huge deficit then he would have to be about twelve years old and is the personification of why public schools are such failures.
These geniuses always rant about Bush but can’t give you one policy of his that caused their concern.
While I agree that Bush was beginning to make Carter look good, as a former public school grad who went out into the real world and got a REAL education, let me remind everyone that the Democrats are responsible for enacting all the gravy train programs (not to mention allowing teenagers to vote) in the sixties and seventies that has turned our country into a nation of ill-educated, spineless, crybaby, perpetually mooching “victims”.
George Bush was in grade school and the GOP was only dreaming of the future when this crap began.
Besides, in ten months Barack Obama has increased the deficit more than all presidents whose names begin with a consonant COMBINED. If what Bush did was so bad and you think this is better, I think your parents should sue the school system for malpractice.
