Apparently the NFL thinks that Rush Limbaugh can be demoized for comments he never made, comments mad by liberal liars that want to deatroy Limbaugh because they don't like his opinions but a self proclaimed dog killer who runs dog fights, even kills his own dogs in a grusome way if they don't win a fight, is okay. WTF is wrong with these people? and Cindy , you are very mis-informed, Rush did not say thoose things. Those vulgar comments were all made by your fellow liberals.

I just called Direct TV to cancel my NFL Sunday Ticket and Super Fan package. They sent me to customer retention who told me that the Sunday Ticket would show on my bill but they would give me a $150.00 credit. They also stated that no more of my money would go to the NFL. It was a hassle but seemed the best I could do.

The good thing that will happen in my life will be spending Sundays and Monday evenings doing family activities instead of watching the NFL.
I will become a fan again if Roger Goodell apologize to Rush and invites him his suite for a Pittsburg game.

I have watched NFL football for most of my 57 years. I no longer go to the movies because hollywood has insulted me over and over again regarding politics. Now that the NFL has done the same I will not watch another football game and I will find something else to do on Sundays. Maybe more of us could do the same thing.

It's pretty pathetic to read about how racist Rush Limbaugh is when you have actual racists like Keith Olbermann and the like on TV every night. No, Keith doesn't hate black people, he hates white people. That's the chic position to assume these days. White people are so terrible aren't they? They've only done a few things important things anyway like writing the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution as well as help establish this country. America, a place that offers more opportunity to the individual than any other on earth. So you have these pseudo-intellectuals come on networks like CNN and they sit there, as if anyone really cares about what they have to say, and they get to call R.L. a racist. I'm willing to bet 90% of them have never heard more than the a few sound bytes from him- and yet, they're in a position to pass judgment. Again, it's stylish to attack someone who has values and who speaks out against what is going wrong with out country. SO, Kanye can grab the microphone from a white girl and insult her in front of millions of people- that's fine, no one calls him racist. But if a white person criticizes a black person, or any minority, he/she is immediately labeled a racist by black AND white people. Is that what we've come to accept in this society? Truly, a sad and ominous prediction for the future. Funny thing is, I don't blame black folks for this. Let me just say thanks to Keith, and all you white people who feel good about hating white people, you're really doing America a lot of good- but your time will come and I hope you know that it won't be pleasant.

Once again, corporate black mail by Sharpton and Jackson. I was in banking in the late 90's and early 00's and if a bank did not discriminate and lend money based on color or location alone, instead of on a blind neutral balance sheet, they were boycotted and picketed by these groups. This was a big part of our mortgage and bank crises over the last two years. Banks should lend money to all colors, races, locations, religions etc. based on their ability to pay back the loan, not because Acorn, Sharpton, and Jackson would picket your bank if you didn't. Banks are in business to make money and would lend to anyone who would allow them to do that. These minority "extremist" are parasites that feed off the people they say they are protecting. They need them to be without hope and perceived victims or their power is diminished. If you don't believe Rush, do you believe Bill Cosby?

Well one thing we can take to heart...The Irsay family is opposed to Limbaugh and we know what paragons of character that family is after their midnight abandonment of Baltimore by the old man. There's also Jerry Jones who pulled those shenanigans to get Bobby "The Rat" Patrino at his alma mater. We could go on about the fine upstanding character that makes up NFL ownership.

Affiliating with a draft-dodging pederast, who at the beginning of the modern version of its perennial pedophile priest scandal claimed "The Roman Catholic Church is the rock-ribbed backbone of American moral values," wouldn't be good for any American organization, team or business. Listen up, sponsors!

The listenership demographic of Rush Limbaugh's radio show makes the draft-dodging pederast "Father Couglin Redux": not good for the NFL, not good for America.

to Anthony, You don't understand. You can still watch the NFL without buying the NFL. I would cancel my Sunday Ticket, which has become an overpriced product anyway. I can also spend my money on tickets for my college team, which I now enjoy much more based on what the NFL product has become. Any customer loss, especially those who spend on their product, is a big loss to any industry/base. I was a huge baseball fan in the 80's. Loved baseball, followed it religously, and now with it's steroided and ego centric product, no longer care or spend money on it. That is why baseball is a fraction of what it used to be. Football maybe a decade away from this, but it is on a slippery slope. How many blue collar guys afford $65 for the cheapest ticket for them and their kid. Pay another $30-$40 (yes that's correct) to park. $5 for a hotdog, and $8 for a beer. I have teenagers who play football in High School. They love football and watch college, but they don't show much passion for the NFL. They don't follow it closely like most of the kids did in the 80's and 90's. They would rather watch the X games on Sunday afternoon than football. Observe other teenagers around you and you know that this is not an embellishment. RIP NFL.
