Moving to Sunday

No jolt this morning, ladies and gentlemen. The Political Insider, once Monday only in print, is shifting (and expanding) to the Sunday and Thursday editions of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

So today will be spent quietly at the laptop. And at WAGA for a taping. Dick Williams has suggested I end my hiatus from Sunday’s “Georgia Gang.” See you there.

Congratulations. It’s civically rewarding to see the elevation of the rare one who is cognizant and respectful of the American Creed and the principles upon which Our Nation was founded. Your upgrading “The Georgia Gang” should be rewarded as well, monetarily.

I look forward to seeing you on the Georgia Gang also! It will be nice having a new perspective on the show. Just don’t let Dick and Phil put words in your mouth…. :)

You are a standard-bearer for good journalism. And now you and others have opened a whole new realm of “participatory journalism.” Even though a large percentage of comments made in relation to your stories are throw-aways, there are actually some enlightened folks who are able to jump in and contribute to a healthy discourse on the issues your raise and discuss. The comments actually become part of the story’s impact and resonance with the readership. Hopefully the readers can sort out the wheat from the chaff.

Hey, while on the Georgia Gang can you ask Phil how he is recovering from his accident?

That must have been some awesome blunt-force trauma to his brain to render him that dim-witted.

While your there, ask Phil and Dick how they feel about the US Navy naming a ship for that rabble-rousing community-organizer Medgar Evers.

Be sure to point out that it was a white southern male (albeit a democract, of course) that perpertrated that dastardly deed.

I’d love to see Dick and Phil go into an apopleptic fit of the ‘vapors’…oh…what has the Old South come to….

Good job, Jim. You ruled. “Best political blog in the state,” quoth he. Kudos. If the producer stays smart they’ll make you a regular. With you on the show it was worth watching and the time flew. What a carpetbagging weasel is Phil Kent, who counts himself big against illegal immigration yet ignores Rome’s “National Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry;” their published stratagem for taking over the U.S. with illegal immigration. Methinks I smell a rat.

Jim, good job on the Georgia Gang this morning. You did well in the ‘Alexis’ seat :)

I also echo what a previous blogger said, I wonder how Dick and Phil felt when you made Medgar Evers one of your winners….
