This is a shame. And all of your comments are senseless compared to the fact that people volunteering to elect the person they believe is the best, get robbed of their voice. Their voice now gets replaced with fear and this perpertrated by the ignorant comments about staging, race and just pure hate. If you all are actually voters who keep spouting this racial BS-I think you should move…Maine would be good. You would be closer to the cold…where your heart belongs. God bless the victims and raise up Kasim Reed to lead this city. He is the best person to combat these terrible cruel criminals who do not care about humanity for their own greed. If this were you, your comments would be excrutiatingly painful to read…be ashamed.

My daughter lived and worked for over 3 years in Manhattan after graduating from GA TECH. That’s many days and nights safe and sound. I visited approx. 10 times over that period and always felt safe and thought she was as safe as one could reasonably expect. Go figure the weekend she moves back (home) to ATL for a new job, she is robbed while standing at the corner of Peachtree and 11th St. waiting on a cab this past Sat. night. BTW, she was standing with two male friends as well. She told me the two robbers looked to be 14 years old. Upon shoving her, and grabbing her purse, they ran into a dark parking garage and came rolling out with a 3rd (assume older) boy driving the “getaway” car. Shout out here to two cab drivers who tried to position their cabs to block the car from leaving after hearing my daughter scream after the robbers. Guess they’re tired of crime too! Driver got away—-ATL police never showed even after my daughter’s two 911 calls as well as a female good samaritan who passed by and saw the circumstances and called. As of this writing, she’s never been interviewed…..really? She got the make, model and partial license plate of the car, plus descriptions of robbers, but who cares? Certainly not the ATL APD.

Watch any Campaign For Atlanta video and grab some popcorn and view idiocracy at its purest form. It bewilders me that any Atlantan is behind her. Reed’s attempt at trying to make people vote for a tax increase out of fear is EXACTLY how this ajc story came about. better to scare voters into voting than allowing them to choose.

did you know, @budget concious, that Reed tried to railroad his proposal through the House, after it was approved in the Senate? did you also know that you CAN’T APPROVE REVENUE GENERATING BILLS IN SENATE WITHOUT GOING THROUGH THE HOUSE FIRST?

let’s quit exonerating Reed and his ideas on how many cops for how much and focus on WHAT KIND OF PERSON THIS ELECTED OFFICIAL IS: sneaky and unable to be trusted.
