Ah, ignorance: “What won’t be surprising will be the Senate changing of the guard next year.” Any observer with even a modicum of insight into the 2010 Senate race landscape recognizes that a takeover of the SENATE (rather than the House) is literally a statistical impossibility unless every safe incumbent suddenly retires. The GOP may well take back the House (they will almost certainly gain some seats), but there is a 0.0% chance of a “Senate changing of the guard next year”

THIS HAS ALREADY HAPPENED. Reality has nothing to do with the birther nonsense, he could actually have a video of him being born into a Luau and this racist paranoia would still be kicking around. Saying “where is the proof” is just stupid. At least be honest and say that there is no proof that would be sufficient for wingers to believe that a brown-toned person who became president could possibly be American.

Now, I do not claim to be a Biblical scholar, but I am not sure that being pro-business (whatever that means to you, Mr. White) is a Christ-centered principle. He seemed to be more about helping the weak and meek as opposed to the strong, but like I said: Not a Bible scholar.

Forgive me if I’m telling you about something you already know, but Orly Taitz had a 3-hour hearing on Barnett v. Obama in Santa Ana, CA this morning. The judge seemed skeptical about whether it was an appropriate case for him to hear based largely on his doubts about standing and justiciability, but he declined to issue a ruling from the bench, and we’re standing by to see what he decides.

Enter your comments herTo the Freds, Bill Whites and other assorted nut jobs, where in Scripture does it say Christ preached about self-determination, a strong national defenmse and pro-business “characteristics” ? Where in Scripture can I find those passages? Where does Christ say we shpuld hate our neighbors, kill our enemies, and force-feed people any of the political crap you try to cover wuith a Christian veneer.

It’s my sincere hope and prayers that the Republicanm party will offer up as spokespersons in 2010 and 2012 Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. That will assure that Democrats will retain (and even gain) more seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. So, please urge the Georgia GOP and the national Republican Party leadership to use Sarah, Glenn, Rush and Sean. You will guarantee victory for Democrats for generations to come.
