We want Paul Broun to stay in Congress, the more GOP nutcases the better. Broun and idiots like Joe Wilson do a great job of marginalizing the GOP with independents.

I did every thing I could to stop this guy during the election. I met him once and he told me God told him he had to keep my buddy in Iraq. Luckily despite the republicans best efforts they have not killed all Southern Gentleman with brains or balls. This guys district has maps on school walls that have Russia under the name U.S.S.R.! He was a poor doctor and worse politician old fake southerner.

For those of you who may not click on the link to the Banner-Herald’s editorial: It’s important for you to understand that the editorial only “talks about possible violence at (Broun’s) town hall meeting” in terms of noting the potential for people on BOTH sides of the issue to let emotion outrun reason. The editorial urged people on BOTH sides to “respect … those who may not share their viewpoints.”

I should know; I wrote the editorial in my capacity as the Banner-Herald’s editorial page editor.

And to think that I had the nerve to put this wing nut’s sign in my front yard in Oconee County right next to my Obama-Biden sign!!! And to also think that he had the nerve to campaign in African American churches. . . boy he sure ran the Okie Doke on us black folk!!! But not again, . . . not again . . . I may even run against him as a moderate/conservative democrat . . .

Technically truthful, perhaps, but wildly off the mark with his interpretations. But Georgia has long been known for sending nutty congressmen to Washington. Remember Larry McDonald? Cynthia McKinney was as bad on the other side. And now, Paul Broun. His problem isn’t presentation, it’s paranoia. Thanks, Paul Broun, for continuing a proud Georgia tradition of crazy…your daddy would be appalled.

Before calling Broun a nut, research his speaking points, I believe you’ll find he is being truthful on almost everything he talks about. I used to be skeptical of his comments until I started doing research. I believe his problem is presentation, not what he’s referring too!
