It is amazing to me how many people have posted about how “America” is only for their rights and nobody else??? American rights have evolved over time at the request of its citizens. Easy to say Oh those Muslims, who are they to have rights also. We are talking about a piece of cloth which some seem to think means world domination and mass hysteria will follow. What the??? New policy addresses security and our lawmakers have agreed that it is fine to wear the scarf and whatever religious materials after inspection. I think I feel like converting because this headscarf has done put magic on me! Come on people!

1)dude that would be funny. birka lady robing a bank. btw if we do get to see a birka women rob a bank then how do u know there is a Muslim underneath the birka? i have seen man dress up as woman rob banks on tv. dressing up as a woman doesn’t make him a woman.

2) the reason arab country don’t have any churches is because …. ok I’ll give u an example. if you were a teacher, would you teach ur students 2+2= 6 or 2+2=4. of course if your in ur senses and educated then u’ll teach them 2+2=4. just like that, Arabs know that Islam is a true religion then why in the world would they teach Christianity and build churches in saudi?
FYI= the only thing Muslims don’t believe in is Partnership with God(Allah).

btw why do all countries have 1 president? why don’t they have 2,3 or even 10 presidents?
because if there be more then one ruler then the country/world would be in CHAOS.

all muslims or any one else should ajust to the laws ways & means of the people born in the usa but the judges are not for the people … my hat is off to the judge in duglasville that said no he was right

No Matter what anyone says this was God’s decree. He has conrol over every thing not man. The Judge was incorrect for not allowing Lisa to practice her religious right and God had the last word.

In this internet age people are still as ignorant as they were during the middle ages. No churches in saudia arabia, sadam hussain clearing land mines with babies? What do you smoke? Saudia Arabia has christians and it has churches. Go do a little research. As for the baby remark, I’m not even going to reply to that, anyone with one bit of common sense can see what a big bs that is. Is this what the bigot’s religion teaches them, blind hatred? For all y’all information this country belonged to the native indians, and it was the christians who committed genocide against them and sold their land (read about Trail of Tears). This was the reward the christians gave to the indians after they taught these christians how to survive in this new land. Go read your 8th grade history book. If you have a problem with anyone in this country then you can go back to your country in Europe where ever you or your ancestors came from. This is not your country, people like you stole it!

It has been absolutely awesome to read such intelligence and dignity expressed here. As history has taught us, hatred and intolerance never limits itself to one targeted group. If allowed to spread it consumes everything good and holy. Believers, regardless of their path to god (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc), understand that hatred doesn’t bring you closer to god. When we choose to focus on our own faith and respect the rights of others to be different, we will find greater peace in our hearts and in our world.

Absolutely, this is a ruling for ALL PEOPLE who choose to cover their head or hair, and it DOES allow for safety from idiots who try to sneak a weapon (or whatever) into the courtroom with a search that ANYONE ELSE may have to go through. To much ignorance replying to your blog, sir. And in fact, I believe you bring it on by using the qualifier “Muslim” in your title, when, in fact, all people who choose to cover are included, and many others besides Muslims are now protected in the courtroom. If only you had posted this note, as most other media outlets have, leaving off that adjective pointing out only one group that this ruling applies to.

Like Darknight said, find me a single portrait of Mary that was painted in the pre-modern era that did not depict her with a scarf. Sounds to me like the Muslim women dress more like Mary than almost all of the Christians. Hmmmmmm…..
