OH MY GOODNESS! Well I sure hope your plan worked guys. Boycotting all those stores and facilities only hurt the stores, not the owner. Therefore, normal people like you and I just trying to make it, I got laid off because the store came in under their expected revenue. GOOD JOB!! PAT YOURSELVES ON THE BACK!! Since my community turned their back on me to fulfill their spiteful hatred, I have to turn to my only option. Living off the government until I get another job. Unless any of you "enlightened" people want to give me some money? My kids and I are without food and soon a home.

Just remember people, for every action there is an equal or opposite reaction. You think you may be doing good and sticking it to the man, but you just stomped the little guy under him. These are good lessons to teach my children about what happens when you try to control other people's welfare!

You ought to be glad that the mall saved you from making fools of yourselves. You have the presidents mixed up. Bush crashed the economy, by borrowing billions of dollars from China to postpone having to pay for his war, and by appointing an idiot in charge of the regulating Wall Street(just as he appointed an idiot in charge of the emergency in New Orleans).

I just heard of this from our meetup group. We are going to boycott anything owned by Simon Properties. Please lets spread the word.

Don't you just love FREEDOM?!! We have the power not to shop there.

Hopefully we will not loose it in the near future.

Support your local 9/12 project.

TommyT's irony meter explodes. Mine, too, but that's because the left champions freedom unless that means freedom of expression from the other side. Glad you are so gleeful that a big Democratic supporter used a technicality to shut down a celebration that would focus on getting back to smaller government and responsible federal spending. As usual, the left promotes freedom of speech for me, not thee.

Tommy T, FYI, it wasn't his property. He doesn't actually own that property but was able to enforce some kind of easement agreement to have the event cancelled. So he reviewed his legal agreement and found a way to have it cancelled. If it was his property to begin with, do you think it EVER would have been scheduled to begin with? Lets think a little before we make uneducated comments. See the problem with just reading the liberal news source, is that you really get all of the news or facts.

Can we actually have a news article that starts with the assumption that the Atlanta Tea Party is telling the truth. The first line wreaks of partisanship and makes the reader question whether or not the Atlanta Tea Party is telling the truth. Why doesn't the journalist state facts? Why doesn't the journalist actually write a news article rather than slanting it with their personal bias? Could it be any clearer that the writer doesn't actually "trust" the Atlanta Tea Party? And why would that be?

I don't know what has happened to turn the left into a bunch of nasty, hateful, stupid, dumb, ignorant, llliterate groupies, but the fat remains it is the new culture and it turns my stomach. The ones who voted for the Commander in Thief should be the ones to foot the bill, instead of holding their hands out waiting for hard working tax payers to take care of their smelly butts. The hate is spreading. So be it. They are worthless.

Sad thing is, the American Idol mindset rules. This rag knows it. What with all that's ongoing politically speaking both nationally and foreign, the headers in the ajc still deal with the death of Michael Jackson, it's the continuation to dumb down the masses instead of fueling the masses with intelligent material...

For all my fellow FairTax supporters out there... If you're planning to boycott Simon properties, as I am, here is the list of places to avoid: Mall of Georgia, Mall of Georgia Crossing, Phipps Plaza, Lenox Square, Gwinnett Place, Discover Mills, North Lake, and Town Center. And here's the place to let Simon Properties know that there is a price to be paid for using your wealth to silence opposing views: https://www.simon.com/about_simon/contact_spg/default.aspx

As for Jim Galloway's article his bias shows and willful ignorance of the facts at hand show immediately in his writing with his "anti-tax" line. How can anyone aware of what the FairTax really is possibly be classify it as an "anti-tax group"?

For those as ignorant of the facts as Galloway that actually care to educate themselves BEFORE mouthing off here's a link to help you out: www.fairtax.org. Briefly, the Fair Tax is a proposed NATIONAL sales tax that taxes EVERYONE who spends money equally and provides relief from taxation across the board (regardless of income) for the purchase of necessities. How is THAT anti-tax? That's just what it says it is FAIR.
