If Georgia is to move forward this state need rail service all though georgia. Big cities small towns could have jobs and worker could get to them if they set up rail service at the jobs sites. Get a plan first a real plan for georgia and work the plan. The money will come if you do it right Business and labor win win!! GOP here is the biggest thing you can do to help every body if you only would move!!

Think About It…The stadium was built after Marta and Ted Turner should have decided to build the stadium closer to a Marta Line….hmm..don’t blame city government for that…

Turd Ferguson..you are truly a turd if you think Athens or Rome are hubs for anything in the southeast. I’m sure the train will go through but seriously how can you say it should be a hub…And we are paying for the beltline…that’s a separate issue…if you live outside of the city of county, please focus on your elected officials for once.

Agreed…let the high speed rail run thru Athens or Rome. Atlanta is too much of a cesspool to have such niceties. Also Atlanta wants to have that STUPID “beltline”…oh what an ignorant group of “leaders” Atlantans have elected.

The rail transit system, just as the Interstate system should be done via Washington but with local input.
Hopefully it will get done and a new Stadium will be within a block of it. Just the opposite of what
the dumb demoRATs in Atlanta city government would do.
