Savannah — Notes from this morning’s session of the state GOP convention:
This morning at breakfast, state GOP chairman Sue Everhart formally announced the end of Randy Evans’tenure as the party’s legal counsel.
Evans was leaving her for Sarah Palin, she said.
Which was an interesting statement. Palin just announced a book contract, if you recall. And Evans’ has negotiated many, many contracts for books by prominent Republicans, including Newt Gingrich and J.C. Watts, who just finished addressing the convention. Evans remains legal counsel for both.
During a spare moment, we were able to ask Evans if he had negotiated Palin’s book deal. He declined to answer — but acknowledged he is now doing legal work for Palin. “I’m not going to say what I’m doing,” he said. “I represent a lot of people.”
— The official delegate count at the convention stands at 1,206.
— Everhart was just nominated for a second two-year term as state party chairman. With no opposition. She was just re-elected by acclamation.

When Jesus Christ returns…he, too, will need an attorney to sue to the entire liberal Media for slander…The secular, liberal Media has slandered Christ….they have G.D.God every day.

Could his desirability from the Palin perspective be his expertise in dealing with ethics matters?

Palin must have some serious problems upcoming in the remaining ethics complaints being investigated; there’s 3 of them, I believe. The rest — 10 in all — have been dismissed or settled (by Palin promising to pay back the state of Alaska all the grift, er, travel compensation she’d received that she wasn’t entitled to, instead of being censured or impeached).

Oh snap, and just when I was about to wean myself from following the exploits of Palin. I realize she may have problems that contribute to her behaviours, but she is in way over her squirrel-wrap hair-do head. And yes, if she were a guy, I would pick on him too. Suck it up, Palin, and teach Piper and Willow how to be better students, instead of using your free time to write a book.

Let us cut the topic short and let us go direct to the point of conclusion. Sarah will be and MUST be the next POTUS 2012 if Americans still love their country. Too much of extreme liberalism always damage the stability of any country all over the world. If americans are aware of history, The ancient mighty Roman empire was not destoyed from the outside until it was destroyed from within because of extreme liberalism and influenced by corrupt senators and politicians. At present, USA has these kinds of politicians in the senate and congress. One fine example is Nancy Pelosi and Barney Franks, and there are a lot more, and these washington elites represents the clear and present danger to the United States.

NaughtyMonkey,
your points and thoughts are paralled to your blogger name, as an animal thought. I say, you do not represent the good interest of the american people. It is either that you are anti-feminism or just jealous of the Palin’s wonderful achievements. The way you comment signifies that you are just trying hard to be intellectually elite. It is either that you are extreme lefties or extreme rightist. You are a danger to the society and must cease to exist. Go home, think anything good of what you can do for your country. I am sure that you are one of those who are parasitic to govt funding, and it discourages me paying my tax

Look, Big Jim has posted his weekly Plain story. It is getting sick now, Jimbo. Just tell Sarah how much you are obsessed with her. Tell her how much you are secretly in-love with her. Go ahead, do it. I think you will feel better. By the way, I know this Palin story is hot news, but di you think you can post something about the brewhaha with the Speakerette? Pelosi is accusing the CIA of lying to her so it may be a fairly big story.
