State Sen. Eric Johnson, a Republican candidate for governor whose hometown of Savannah will host this weekend’s state GOP convention, has joined those throwing cold water on any move to deny Sue Everhart a second term as chairman.
He sent the following 140-character message out via Twitter not 20 minutes ago:
“I urge my friends to join me in support of Sue Everhart as Chair of the Ga GOP. We need the grassroots picking our leader, not politicians.”
