It certainly would be nice if EVERY candidate for governor would be included in the poll!

RAY McBERRY (www.GeorgiaFirst.org) is a Republican candidate. He stands to protect Georgians from those who would deprive us of our liberty; he supports the abolition of both income and property taxes (to be replaced by a state sales tax); and he adamantly opposes infringement of the Second Amendment.

Thurbert Baker- WILL NEVER WIN! African-Americans don’t like him because of his “Anti-Black” stances on the issues.

And, White people know they can’t trust Thurbert Baker, because he is a proven “flip-flopper”. I doubt if he will get ANY of the GA White vote in a general election…and only uninformed Black voters will dare cast a vote for this BOZO!

Most of you are just po’ed at what Obama and GWB did, not anything specific to Isakson. Heck, most of you cannot even spell his name right. I think you know about as much as the respondants to this stupid “poll.”

OK, if Obama spoke of 57 states, then that’s pretty boneheaded too — no argument from me on that.

Isakson is a moderate Republican, which Georgia needs to have any voice in the Senate at all. But I’m sure the nutso crazies like RDB will prefer the most radical, Hannity talking-points right-winger they can find. This is sad, because it further confirms that the GOP is abandoning mainstream America and will soon be a fringe party.

If you all notice, the Georgia Republican establishment has already decided that nobody will challenge Issakson. That’s too bad.

I’d support Herman if he tried. I think he’d have a better chance in the Primary this time. We need smart and honest leaders. Herman Cain has proven himself to be that type of leader. Issakson is a go-along, make no waves, amnesty loving, TARPY republican.

PS – It is foolish to dismiss someone who mis-speaks. That applies to Obama’s 57 states and Cain’s 31 days in Sept. mis-speak is the little stuff that you shouldn’t sweat over. Look at the persons record. Even without any gaffs, Issakson fails.

PPS – A good dem candidate for Senate would be Gov. Barnes. Its a natural move for him and I think he’d win. He comes across as a Sam Nunn type.

RE KEVIN75: Herman Cain is a moron. I heard him make a reference to “September 31st” on his radio show the other day.

I guess you would say President Obama is a moron since he stated that he has visited all 57 states during his campaign and recently, noted to his German speaking audience in Austria that he does not “speak Austrian”.

That said, put me down as one who believes it may be time for Isacksson to go. Like many Republicans these does, I am afraid Johnny is more concerned about being viewed as “bipartisan” and ” willing to reach across the aisle” so that he can garner the love of the leftist. Plus, Johnny (and many other Republicans prone to shroud themselves in the shadow of Ronald Reagan when they talk to the public) was there all the while GWB was building his blow out big time government, budget and handouts programs and he went along with it. A conservative he is not really.
