Once again the question "Where were you when Bush was spending".
First of all Bush spent just over 4.1 trillion, WAY too much and the Tea Parties started in 2007 AGAINST Bush's spending policies. Clinton and all the previous presidents left Bush with 5.57 Trillion in defecit, Yes Clinton left a defecit, he had 2 years (The CBO did his actual numbers and he added defecits with 6 of his years) of a surplus out of 8, He added to the overall defecit, all while with a Conservative Congress, we now see what a Liberal President and Congress spend. May I suggest the Federal budget web-site. Second Obama just added 8 trillion dollars in his first 60 days, that's double Bush's 8 years you Liberal hypocrites.

BTW the Tea Parties bagged the collective mouths of every Liberal in the country.

Heather C. – Again you are making this event into an attack on the Jewish Community and again I take real offense that you even put me in that category. You do not know me or my affiliations or beliefs. However, in your earlier post you labeled everyone attending these events as a “bunch of racist, sexist, homophobic and neo-Nazi degenerates”. I am none of those things and seriously doubt you are as genuine as you try to come off. Perhaps you need to remove yourself from the racist, sexist, homophobic and neo-Nazi degenerate blogs you are reading and concentrate on the average American and how we feel about being abused by our very own Government.
By the way -I could care less what you and your husband pay in taxes or what state you paid your taxes to. You act like you are making this huge sacrifice. When it is quite arrogant of you to think that no one else is doing the same. I hate to break it to you, but anyone paying taxes is making a sacrifice. This by the way is the whole point of this protest. Shall I remind you - A Tax Protest does NOT equate to an attack on the Jewish Community. I’ll end by saying – Stop playing that same old tune. It makes your point less effective. Oh, I would have said the same thing regardless of your religion. So there is no need to beat that dead horse again.
Farewell – I’m off to a peaceful protest. Some people have to do something and others just have to sit, watch, play the victim, do nothing or move to Canada! lol

To make it easy for some of you, this country is living off credit cards.

Many of the recently passed spending bills may very well be for a "good" cause. But the fact is, we are paying for it with credit. Money we don't have. And money that comes with interest. That is a major waste of our tax dollars.

If you start paying your bills at home with your own credit card, what happens? You get deeper and deeper into debt with no way out except bankruptcy. That folks is our government.

Spending has got to be decreased - period. There is no other way. We can't keep putting it on the "credit card" hoping to win the lottery.

Forget party politics. DO THE MATH. The baby boomers are getting closer and closer to retirement. Any idea what that will do to the budget? Take a guess.

Everybody in this country needs to figure it out pretty quick or there will be no turning back. The last major player that went bankrupt was the USSR. That turned out well didn't it?

This is directed to the few reasoning people on this board: I'm assuming you know the facts here and are not moved by the hyperbole. Do you have an alternative to the course the President has set since innauguration? If, why do you believe he chose the direction we're moving in?

I am amazed these so called fiscal conservatives have the gall to show their faces in public! Do they think we didn’t notice that after 8 years under their ahem, WISOM, this country was of the brink of ruin?

Lest we not forget: under Daddy Bush, the laws in place to protect the Savings and Loan Industry were gutted allowing one Bush son and HIS cronies to make out like the bandits they are. Then more recently under Sonny Bush, the same thing happened with Wall Street Regulations and Banking Laws.

These TEA BAGGERS may THINK they’re part of a “conservative movement” but they’ve been misled too. The Robber Barons used ‘right wing’ pseudo religious and political mumbo jumbo to grab a wide base of support so they and their cronies could rob US and the USA.

If you don’t remember this, one example should suffice: Kenneth Lay of ENRON was the #1 financial supporter of Sonny Bush: he robbed his employees of their jobs, health benefits and the retirement benefits THEY paid for. His friend, a criminal who has yet to be brought to justice, made personal billions at the expense of others yet Sonny Bush never said a word but protected his crony.

Reganomics and Christian Conservative Family Value politics sure sounded good for a while. Many people, some rather smart, were misled for a long time.

But what exactly do these TEA BAGGERS think they’re protesting against now? There are no new sweeping tax laws on the books- just some ideas on the table. The usual suspect liars at FOX are fanning BS ALSO for personal gain.

Lest we forget, again that at least one of these media liars went on record as saying he HOPED the new President would fail. Guess his fat fanny is covered nicely so he’s happy to let the rest of us fail, too.

If they’re supposed to be the watchdogs of our liberty let us ask them to explain where they were when their Republican Congress voted in the PATRIOT ACT? We now know NONE OF THEM had even read this Act that stripped all of us of some basic freedoms that we took for granted.

And...by the way TEA BAGGERS, to those of us upper middle class, middle aged people still in the 33% tax bracket who have worked for 35 years only to see our retirement plans gutted for the personal gain of your “Conservatives” buddies, I have to admit some entitlements are beginning to sound good to me.
