Trouble here: Paychecks for son-in-law went to Sanford Bishop’s wife

The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer has posted this:

An internal audit of the Muscogee County Marshal’s office shows that Vivian Creighton Bishop, wife of Congressman Sanford Bishop, received more than $7,000 in pay intended for her son-in-law.

According to records obtained through Georgia’s Open Records Act, Stephen M. Reese was paid $7,275 before taxes over a seven-month period from November 2007 until July 2008 as an assistant for the Junior Marshal’s program, which is funded in part by a federal grant secured by the congressman.

The money paid to Reese was direct-deposited into a Columbus Bank & Trust Co. account in the name of Vivian Creighton Bishop, city records show. A canceled check from Bishop’s CB&T account is on file in the city’s human resources department. The canceled check, numbered 5140, was used to start the direct deposit.

I thought it was Bishop’s “step daughter”, now it’s the “son in-law”. Were both getting paid??? And don’t they live in Lithonia??? I doubt seriously that the congressman knew about this. Miss Vivian, however, is a different story.

Pork at its finest. I think the Federal and State government could save billions of dollars if they would take the time to investigate where some of our tax dollars are going. Did any of them bother to pay taxes in the last ten years? I doubt it!

This has nothing to do with Sanford Bishop. HE didn’t know all this was going on. And Bishop is not a crook, neither is David Scott.

The Democrats are not an option to replace the incompetent Republicans in this state because the Dems are a bunch of crooks stuffing as much money in their pockets as they possibly can.

Vivian is the CROOK! It is about time that something illegal that she has done come to light. She has been stealing from the City of Columbus for years! Spendng tax payers money on taking care of her personal business. Congressman Bishop does not even live in Columbus…I am sure he knew nothing about it. Countryman has gotten himself into a mess following Vivians lead…HE KNEW BETTER! I am sure she is sitting around trying to find a way to lie and get out of it…but she can not fabricate tapes, notices or letters to get her way out of this….the paper trail she left will lead her to jail. If Sanford is smart he will advise her to resign and than divorce her….that is the only way to save his career!

There is stronger evidence against Vivian Bishop, her daughter and son in law than there is against Blago. According to court house employees Vivian is harsdly ever at her job. Spends all her time in Washington.

good morning pat youve just been busted by the busy bee i no who you are and who you work for traitor. you work in one of the congressmans offices and youve longed to be with sandford for years even though you had a husband at home.oops i for got you stressed him out so bad untill he had a stroke 2yrs ago and most of the time he doesnt even no what day of the week it is. pat how could your pretend to be a friend of the congressmans wife and leak information concerning the bishops i should have nown that it was you all the time. you gave your self away by blogging to much information concerning this case. you made people think that it was joanne she did bloog too but your are keepitreal i mean keepitfake you can thank the gbi for telling me what keepitreal real identity. what a joke you are i new it was a woman who is pineing over sanford. but honey child you can stir up all the sh– that you want to but you will never brake the bishops or their family apart for one thing you are to old for sandford and what would you do withyour house bound husband i guess you would put him in a nursing home you a cheap trick of a tramp to go this far to hurt vivian. just remeber you will never ever get sandford your a hot mess and since you have betrayed sanfords trust i believe you will be ousted very very soon as an employee of the congressman. i’m going to be on you like white on rice, like stank on sh–, and a limb to a tree until your identity has been made public and then you will see and feel what is like to have your name dragged through the mudd you cheap jealeous hateful trick……

all of yall can kiss where the sun doesnt shine. i keep trying to figure out what you all have read. it is not illegal for the stepdaughterto be employed by this program which partially was funded by a govt grant. she’s 30yrs old and self supporting. she not related to sandford biologically and we have it in black and white the report that will be released to the public in a couple of weeks that theres nothing written anywhere that states that the stepdaughter couldn’t be employed by the program that was partially funded with a govt grant. most people now days have to work 2 jobs to make it. yall act as if the daughter and son in law were living at home with the bishops and still in highschool and i’ve deposited my daughter check in my acct for years does that make me a theif no it doesnt i guess is so eay to say bad and negative things about a person then to repeat the good that they have done. a lie dont care who tells it as long as it gets told i cant wait untill the report from the gbi comes out. if there was any wrong doing dont you no that they would have already pressed charges and arrested them already. yall are stupid stupid stupid. theres nothing criminal or unethical about the stepdaughter’s employedment but i guess its your right to have an opinion which is just life an a– hole everybodys got one. do you think mrs bishop wolud risk her 70,000 salary over a part time job that only paid her daughter 7,500. yall are even crazy than i thought and to the fool that said vivans been stealing ffrom the city for years is telling a dam lie. her books get audited yearly be the finance dept and all of her purchases have to be approved before she can write any checks period. that is my proof of a lie doesnt care who told it just as long as it gets told. yall are so off base about this until you bore me with your foolish and ignorant remarks get educated with the facts and true findings first before you continue to sell your already hell bound soul to hell. your flaming and going dow fast………

WOW…It is what it is and what is done in the dark will always come to the light. God doesn’t like ugly and very little pretty. Do right by your people!! I’m sure there is some wrong in this…I know Vivian, and boy…!!!!
