Senate minority leader one of 19 who failed to pay taxes

Paul Crawley with 11Alive has identified one of 19 state lawmakers who have neglected their taxes:

“What I have done as a state senator is fail to file taxes,” admits Georgia’s highest ranking Democratic state senate member.

Sen. Robert Brown of Macon freely admits not filing income taxes for at least the past two years.

He blames his health, which he claims kept him from making any money in his real estate business.

But the state Senate minority leader also admits it’s only a “reason and not an excuse”.

Don’t you understand why Democrats vote for tax increases, they don’t pay their taxes yet always find a way to receive federal goverment grants,

Mr brown quit blaming everyone but yourself for your problems,you made your bed now sleep in it.this has been going more 2 years.Yet you never told anyone.If yor health is that bad then you need to step down.I have no pitty for someone who blames everyone but themselves for their problems.Mr Brown I am a 46 year old man who lost 4 disc in my back in 1989 But yet I have kept working even though somedays I could not walk 5 feet without having to stop because of the pain.But yet every april I still had to pay my taxes to my state.Stop crying and be a man and admit that you are only making excuses for something you got caught doing.

Mr. Brown – the only “bloodsucker” is YOU! You fail to pay your taxes and the rest of us have to pick up the slack.

You should resign immediately. You have failed as a leader.
