I’m working on a story about the newest safety measure (colored flags to let runners know conditions) that will be used at the AJC Peachtree Road Race this year.
I’m sure many of you have run in races all over the country and hoped you would share with me other safety measures you’ve either seen or read about that you appreciated.
Please email your comments to me at droberson@ajc.com.
Thanks, and have a great day.
Doug

Please do not hand out smoldering hot bottles of water at the finish this year. Please figure out how to keep the water cool.

i absolutely agree, that is my biggest complaint about the race. figure out how to keep the water cool or allow the sponsors who are handing out drinks on the street to come much closer to the finish line, because they know how to keep their stuff cool
