To enter, leave a comment below. You can share a running story, words of wisdom for other runners or how you’ll celebrate if you win the numbers. I want to run with my sweet 17 yr old cousin who is visiting from Colombia. I got her started running and she loves it. She is as addicted as I am. What an amazing experience it would be for her to run on the 4th of July in ATL!!! This would be such a special experience for us – on a perfect day and perfect city!!

My wife and I are trying to get back in shape after having our first child a few months back. This will allow us to have some time alone to accomplish the goal of getting in shape.

I really enjoy to run and have been trying my darndest to get my boyfriend to run with me! I think the Peachtree would inspire him/kick-start his running habits since it is such a high energy race with lots of supporters along the way! I ran the Peachtree one time about 5 years ago with my father and it was an amazing experience. I would love to experience the Peachtree “high” again and hopefully get the chance to show my boyfriend that running can be fun!!

I’ve run hundreds of races across the country. This one is my favorite. I’ve never found another race with better crowd support, yet also provided enough space to actually run (by use of qualified corrals and wave starts).

Last year I ran my first Road Race to celebrate turning 40. I was engaged at the time however, my fiance did not have the opportunity to run with me. We are now married!!! We have six kids, and one grandson. With life being so busy we missed deadlines for registration. We have been working out and would love our family to see us complete the road race TOGETHER!! We would celebrate by having a traditional 4th of July Celebration with family and friends. Please pick us… It would also make for a wonder Father’s Day gift to the hubby!! Thank you!! GO TEAM BRYANT!!!!!

Pick me! I volunteered at the race with my sister last year and had so much fun! We talked about actually running the race this year, but I think getting her a free entry is the only way I’ll get her to commit.

After running the PRR for 25 years it seemed like a good idea to take a break for a few years. I miss the crowds, the energy and the fun. Hoping to snag two numbers so our daughter or son and I can share the experience together.

I was a runner in high school and recently reconnected with my love for the sport through Black Girls Run. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to improving my health, fitness and character through running. The level of challenge and achievement I experience through running is incomparable to any other sport I’m involved in. The thrill of running in the 2012 Peachtree Roadrace will propel my love of running and sense of accomplishment in a fun and exciting way. I hope to receive the opportunity!

I am one of four sisters. Two of us have numbers and two of us didn’t register due to upcoming surgeries. The missing two have changed their minds and would like to participate. The last time we all ran the PRR was in 2008.

I’m NOT suffering from an illness, this will NOT reunite me with my long lost love and this will NOT help any children’s foundation, it’s purely my own selfish motives to keep my streak going…. I’ve run the Peachtree road race for 5 years and had always gotten a number before this year….I THINK I GOT TOO COCKY, I told someone ‘yes, it’s a lottery wink wink but I always get in’…I have since been humbled….IF YOU HEAR ME OH GODS OF THE ALMIGHTY PEACHTREE ROAD RACE NUMBER GIVE AWAYERS, PLEASE GRANT ME A ROAD RACE NUMBER. That is all.

I would like to win these tickets as an encouragement to my mother. After receiving news at the doctor about 2 years ago that her cholesterol and blood pressure were very high she successfully lost over 40 lbs and brought her blood pressure and cholesterol way down… amazing for a woman over 50!!! She did this through improving her diet and sticking to an exercise regimen of swimming and jogging. Last year was her first year running the Peachtree Road Race, which was a huge milestone for her. I want to be able to run it with her this year to encourage her and show her how proud I am of her. My dad has started making healthy changes too, so maybe next year the whole family will be able to run it together!

I so badly want to run this race! I cried when I didn’t get chosen in the lottery (sad, but true). I’ve never run it. My bestfriend committed to training with me -he’s a healthy avid runner. As for me… not so much. So, he’s encouraged me to become more healthy and to lose some much needed weight (15 lbs so far and I did my first 5 miler last weekend) . Neither one of us got chosen in the lottery. BUT, we’ve still been training in hopes that we can fulfill my dream to run this race!
