Bono and the boys will be sampling some of the city’s tastiest home-made pasta prior to their Oct. 6 gig at the Georgia Dome next week.

We hear that the Irish rock band U2’s head chef has called Howell Mill Road pasta emporium Via Elisa’s namesake Elisa Gambino to order up 14 pounds of lasagna sheets from her for the act’s dinner here next week.

According to her Website, viaelisa.com, Gambino’s 10″ by 15″ lasagna sheets run $7.50 per pound.
