Steve, you're a clueless idiot. And what a surprise, we have a liberal playing the "angry white male" card. Thank you for proving, yet again, why liberalism is dying. The fact is, people like you have no clue what real racism is. Liberalism does nothing but obliterate social progress. Why? Because brain-dead lefties like you embrace hypocrisy and intolerance. You pander to those you fear and hate those you disagree with. Go away, Steve. Nobody wants your hatred.

Happy Birthday president Carter. Thank you for all you have done for this country. Most don't like you because you do what you want, and you say what you feel. Keep it up, you peirce the minds of the thoughtless racist. God Bless you, and I hope you have many more birthdays.

To those of you who are upset with the money spent - get your facts right before you speak. This renovation was paid for by donations and did not come from your tax money.

Dear S, I havemet the man too and he is still an idiot and embarrassment to the State of Georgia. Did they include a room in the addition for him to have some nice quiet time to cuddle up to every dictator and despot in the world?

I will agree the man has done some good things since he was run out of the white house. If he would only keep his mouth shut and build houses it would be great.

To those of you outraged over the cost: are you going to express the same outrage at the GWBush library that's already been approved and moving forward? If you think GW is going to do ANYTHING of value in his post-pres days except fill his own pockets with speaking engagements, you're lost in your own political partiality. Say what you will about his presidential tenure, but Carter has done more on a humanitarian level than any ex-president in the entire history of our country.

Jimmy Carter has more common sense than we've seen in office in a very long time. He's real, he's honest, and he's done more since he left office than most presidents do in a lifetime. If we'd listened to him in the 70's maybe we wouldn't be in the middle of the energy crisis in which we now find ourselves. To top it off, he's a good, kind man (yes, I've met him). You may not agree with his political viewpoints, but at least show him the respect he certainly deserves; he would do the same for you.
