Flood of demand for retro ‘Drought?’ duds?

Drought---Guys[1]Leave it to the guys at Atlanta’s Esperanza clothing company to provide the ultimate hipster wardrobe for our current weather conditions.

On Tuesday, the Atlanta T-shirt company announced it was having a flood-related sale on it’s “What Drought? T-shirt. The design was originally created as an ironic statement during our now-distant dry spell when we were all urged to shave, maintain our teeth and water our house plants in the same sink of H2O.

Explains Esperanza reps on the company’s Website Tuesday: “As the ATL is pummeled with rain, causing us crazy mudslides and rivers, we at Esperanza would like to extend some good news –The What Drought? T-shirt is now $5.”

And perhaps mirroring all of our thoughts as we watch the news coverage of the flood ravaged state, Esperanza adds: “Why is it that every image of a flooded road has that one car that is underwater? Whose car is that? Did they really try to get through a road with a raging river running across it?”

Sounds like future T-shirt fodder to us. . .

Given that people have lost their lives i think this is in poor taste.
