It has been three nonths now yes I really miss GL. I’m now watching courts show which is 20 times better than these games show and Ellen Deginneus any day.Tom P is not going too bad on ATWT however he played better on GL.

i am very up set that the best soap opera went off i don,t understand .i watched that show since i was little and now i am 47 and cry because it is not on no more thats not fair and i hope they come back on please, alot of people in pa is really upset. thank you

PUT IT BACK ON!!! GUIDING LIGHT WAS MY WORLD BETWEEN SOAP OPERA AND REALITY. IT WAS MY DAILY GOOD CRY. I LOVED ALL OF THE CHARACHTERS, AND FELT SUCH A REAL CONNECTION. I STARTED WATCHING AGAIN FAITHFULLY WHEN THE WHOLD TAMMY/JOHNATHAN/LIZZY TRIANGLE RAN, AND HAVEN’T STOPPED SINCE. IT WAS GETTING SO MUCH BETTER. WHY DID IT HAVE TO END? IM STARTING TO HATE CBS, THEY ARE CANCELLING ALL MY FAVORITE SHOWS, KNOCK IT OFF.

I have been watching GL for 32 years, since I was 6 yrs old watching it with my grandmother and great aunt. I recorded the last 2 weeks of episodes and cried my eyes out every night watching them as we got closer and closer to the end. I thought they did a great job with the ending, everything going so well for the whole town…. but am still so very bummed out that my favorite show is now over.

I have watched Guiding Light for over 50 years since I was a teenager. They have had so many great actors on the show. The Bauers, Spauldings, and Coopers seemed like real friends. I was thrilled when they brought Grant Alexander back only to find the show was ending. Thank you GL for bringing back so many of the beloved former actors for the last few weeks. Thank you also for letting all of our major actors’ love stories end in a good way.
It was shocking to me that the Daytime Emmy Show didn’t pay GL more homage and talk about the wonderful actors that started on the show. They should have had all the presenters be GL actors.

Soo Sooo Sad. I too named my son after Dylan, I have been a fan for years. Always loved Harley and the Coopers. CBS you are so wrong to do this to all of us!!!!!

i too am sooo very sad to see guiding light go. so many memories especially sitting with my grandma. i too named children after characters. my oldest son nick named bud, my second son middle name was alan and finally my thirds sons middle name is joshua. i spent the whole week sitting in front of tv on the floor in tears. my husband actually hugged me. we all have to remember that alot of what guiding light was is what we all have already our family. and although ditractions of others may get in our way with family we are invinsible. time to make our own memories with our own. thank you gioding light for showing us the light for 72 years. god bless you all and good luck on you alls journey.
