What do candy dishes, news man Ted Koppel and Sugarland’s Kristian Bush have in common?

All are expected to take center stage Thursday night at a charity event at OwenLawrence, a boutique at the Westside Provisions District on Howell Mill.

Baccarat Crystal’s latest traveling exhibition of out-of-this-world crystal candy dishes, some nearly 2-feet-tall, outrageously expensive and designed by Jaime Hayon, are on display at the home boutique.

Fifteen percent of all store sales at the event from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. will benefit Vets First USA, a fundraiser through The ArtReach Foundation Inc. in Atlanta.

Butch Walker

Atlanta and Los Angeles singer-songwriter Butch Walker awoke with one craaazy voice mail message awaiting him on his cellphone Wednesday. The caller with the soap opera-like life obviously misdialed and accidentally called the rock star.

So naturally, in the age of social media, Walker promptly made an audio file of the message and then tweeted about it on Twitter (hear the complete twisted message here). Tweeted a clearly confused Walker: “Um, Nancy. . .”

In an exclusive posted on its Website, celebrity chronicler MediaTakeout.com is reporting that Lady GaGa wants out of her tour with Kanye West. Read the complete scoop here.

An official announcement could come on Friday, according to the site. Apparently, the rising pop star is receiving blow-back from fans who are still irked with West’s ungentlemanly-like antics on the recent MTV VMAs.

The double bill is scheduled to hit Atlanta’s Philips Arena on Dec. 11. Tickets are set to go on sale Saturday at noon. Buzz is contacting folks at Live Nation for any possible updates they may have received.

Actor Josh Duhamel probably looked something like this as he sunbathed Tuesday in Buckhead. Well, except for the tropical locale…

Apparently, our cooler, fall-like temps agree with actor Josh Duhamel. With his “Life As We Know It” script in hand, the actor who’s in town shooting the romantic comedy with Katherine Heigl was spotted pool-side Tuesday at the St. Regis hotel in Buckhead.

The former runway model and “Transformers” actor had the pool to himself Tuesday afternoon until Atlanta photographer Richie Arpino showed up with two leggy models to shoot images for an upcoming spread in The Piedmont Review.

“I walked up to him and told him, ‘You look exactly like Josh Duhamel, ‘ ” Arpino told Buzz when we bumped into him Tuesday night. “He told me, ‘That’s because I am.’ He couldn’t have been nicer.”

Naturally, the owner of the Richie Arpino hair salon invited the star into his Buckhead boutique while he’s here for a haircut.

Athens musician Jon Guthrie

Athens music magazine flagpole.com is reporting that Athens musician Jon Guthrie has been found dead inside his wrecked Mercedes.

The musician was first reported missing over the weekend.

He had recently joined the line up of  The Vigilantes of Love and formerly played bass in Love Tractor. He was just 26. Read the full story here.

The former host of the WSB-TV Saturday night entertainment and news show has finally broken her silence on being let go this summer from her job.

On her blog at kimberleykennedy.com, the author of “Left at the Altar” writes of feeling like a fraud after writing a successful self-help book and then struggling with her bitterness after being sacked from the station.

Writes Kennedy: At the end of June, I unfortunately, became intimately acquainted with another type of rejection. As the Atlanta Braves continue to improve on their wild card playoffs prospects this week, the baseball team’s front office has created the “Believe!” campaign.

Starting today, fans can go to braves.com/believe/ and download four different posters to take to the remaining regular season games at Turner Field this week.

Also, ticket prices are now as low as $6 a piece.

And FYI: Get to the ball park early tonight for the game against the Florida Marlins. Longtime WSB-TV Action News sports director Chuck Dowdle will be honored in a special pre-game celebration at 6:55 p.m.

These games represent the final Braves outings Dowdle will cover before his retirement in December after 24 years on the Atlanta sports beat. Says Braves manager Bobby Cox in a statement sent to Buzz Central: “The name Chuck Dowdle is synonymous with Atlanta sports. He’s really one of the best out there, and it’s been a pleasure having him cover our team for so many years.”
