After months of on-air swooning, the bromance between CNN medical expert Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Q100’s DJ Bert Weiss was finally allowed to blossom in a Buckhead movie theater Wednesday night.

The broadcasters’ wives and children witnessed the proceedings.

The unlikely pair co-hosted a special screening of the latest Hayao Miyazaki film “Ponyo” at AMC Phipps Plaza.

We’re told the adults in the crowd were lined up to meet Gupta while the pint-size crowd clamored for autographs from Bert Weiss.

Attendees also sported name tags at the screening — with their names translated into Japanese.

We hear that Gupta agreed to host the screening since he’s friends with “Ponyo” producer Frank Marshall. The two mens’ families recently vacationed together in France.

Weiss asked to host the screening because of a lingering self-admitted man crush on Gupta. At deadline Friday, Gupta had yet to take out a restraining order against Weiss, who frequently discusses his love for Gupta on-air.

We’re pleased to report, meanwhile, that WGCL reporter Corrina Allen digging into a story with both feet. Allen was spotted taping an interview with author and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Nene Leakes this week — while getting pedicures at Bliss at the W Midtown hotel.

Allen got the “double chocolate pedicure” with the french polish on her toes, while Leakes chose the “pedi colada” and “Waltz” Essie nail polish for her feet.

Also accompanying Leakes to her interview was her long-suffering hubby Gregg Leakes.

We hear that Gregg, sporting stylish Gucci loafers, “busily worked on his laptop” as the girls chatted away about Leakes’ new book.  When asked by a fan how their son Brice was doing at Clark Atlanta, he chuckled and said he’d love to say but “didn’t want to spoil the upcoming episodes.”
