Want to get your drink on Friday night (albeit responsibly, of course) with your friends and help keep two notable transplants and their native Atlanta offspring in town?

Sidle up to the bar at SweetWater Brewing Company Friday night for the Atlanta brewery’s “Pints for Pandas” tasting event. The evening will benefit Zoo Atlanta’s ongoing fund-raising to keep giant pandas Lun Lun and Yang Yang and their toddling son Xi Lan in Atlanta. Without a successful fund-raising campaign, the pandas will join Atlanta-born Mei Lan when she returns to China to hopefully one day expand the family.

“Pints for Pandas” runs from 9 p.m. to midnight.
