I went to the whitney houston official site and listened to all of her songs all the way threw. I enjoyed the album, however I think I was waiting to hear the “Whitney Houston” unforgettable vocals and they just were not there. I thought that when I heard the song “I didn’t know my own strength” that I was going to hear it and the song builds up to the vocal but lands short and you NEVER hear it. I have to wonder, all that Houston has been through, will she ever be able to hit the notes that Mariah and so many to follow once copied? Maybe a better choice of song would have been better to stage a comeback. Whitney stay strong!

Heard the song and could barely tell it was Whitney. She can’t hit the high notes anymore. The song is kind of painful to listen to. Bummer.

I heard one of the songs and she don’t have the pipes. Worse yet why is she saying that she took a break from the industry to be with her daughter. The world seen the break she took.
Don’t lie about it better to say nothing than be a liar.

Either way I do hope she is clean and on the mend although the eyes don’t look like she is.

Who is Ciara?? I don’t know so why put her with Beyonce & the Grand Diva herself Whitney Houston?? I have already preordered my copy of Whitneys new album on Amazon. After adding so much to the soundtrack of American music who wouldn’t want to give her a chance to come back strong?? Everyone loves a comeback story, don’t they?

As for the critics…they will always be around. I will continue to pray for Whitney and the critics. Everyone…I repeat everyone…. has and will continue to sin and make bad decisions. If we are a true believer of Jesus Christ then we know that we must always forgive others and ask for forgiveness for our sins and wrong doings as well, if we want God to forgive us we have no choice but to forgive.

I pray that God’s favor will forever rest upon Whitney. I pray that Whitney will let the love of God flow through her. I pray that God will lead her and give her wisdom to make wise choices.

The bible says to “judge not, that you be not judged by that same measure”. That simply means that when you judge someone you will find yourself being judged by that same standard.

To the critics….Jesus loves you just as much as he loves me. I pray that one day you will come to an understanding and acceptance of his love and that you will receive him into your heart. He wants to love you and make you a better person. Be really careful about speaking negativity towards people. You never know who they are in the kingdom of God.

I love you (critics) but God loves you so much more.

Go Whitney!!! Can’t wait to purchase your CD.

If the CD is good , I will purchase it. Look forward to her GMA concert in the fall. It’s about time we hear some real music. Now I do disagree that Jennifer H can’t sing, she’s been blessed., just needs the right material. Bey is sexy and sex sells. Now that she can’t sing but you cannot compare her to Whit, Florence Ballard (yeah folks she was the voice not Dianna) , Aretha and of course Ms Patti…these ladies are in a league of their own. Whitney, I love this line from an Atlanta pastor: There are just some folks that you have to leave behind and alone…..Ray-J is and will always be a waste of time and energy. Kick him to the curb, Kim C did it…….
