One very famous film fan was among the 2,000 folks who turned up early Wednesday at Atlantic Station for the first public screening of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”
Just past midnight, comic Dave Chappelle snuck in right after the lights went down in the Regal Atlantic Station 16.
Earlier in the week, Chappelle and his kids were spotted enjoying Father’s Day brunch at South City (Dad ordered the crab hash).
Around 11 p.m. Monday night, the star of the late, lamented “Chappelle’s Show” and his wife arrived at Two Urban Licks in Central Atlanta for a late meal.
His two young boys and two-month-old daughter had been napping in the car on the way to the eatery so staffers seated the family at a large table filled with pillows so the kids could resume sleeping.
Chappelle, who doesn’t eat meat or drink alcohol ordered the seafood platter and a Caliber non-alcoholic beer.
We’re told Chappelle had a blast, making the staff laugh and even going table to table telling jokes and signing autographs at his table.
Two Urban Licks reps tell us Chappelle and company ended up closing down the joint around 1 a.m. but not before posing for photos with the entire restaurant staff.
