Fans of the 2007 film “Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married?” will be pleased to know that the sequel, “Why Did I Get Married Too” is currently shooting in Inman Park.

AJC photographer Elissa Eubanks spotted Perry and his cast shooting Monday at a house on Euclid Avenue and couldn’t resist firing off a few images for the director’s many local fans (take a peek here).

When Perry was busy writing the sequel last year, he told Buzz he was hoping to re-assemble the original dream team cast for the sequel (”Can you imagine?!” he shared), including one Janet Jackson. Her therapist character Patricia figures prominently in the sequel, according to Perry.

“This one is heavily on her character,” Perry told us. “It’s heavy about the things her character goes through.”

In addition to Jackson, the popular cast includes Perry himself, Sharon Leal, our fave Perry repertory company bad girl Tasha Smith, Malik Yoba, Richard T. Jones and Michael Jai White.

A warning to Mr. Perry. The sequel had better include our fave coupling from the original, actress Jill Scott’s beautifully nuanced Sheila and Sheriff Troy, her hunky police officer boyfriend played by actor Lawman Rucker.

According to our calculations, movie fans can expect “Why Did I Get Married Too” to hit theaters early in 2010.

Here’s a link to our complete sneak peek photo gallery from the set.

Your name really fits you! Tyler Perry’s movies are not a waste of money and time. His movies bring in 3-4 times more than what they soend making them. Dont be such a Turd!

Definitely has to have Troy and Sheila, without Ms. Scott and Mr. Rucker, it just won’t be the same. I hope Mr. Perry allows all the characters to shine again.

i can’t really get into the movies, the cross dressing, the crack head ex wives and cousins, pookie n’em running a muck and all that. there is a broad black demographic out there, this movie won’t appeal to every african american. i enjoy well thought out movies, dramas, horror, romantic comediesi enjoy comedies too, but this seems to be all tyler perry can bang out. house of payne, meet the browns, where does it end..
