Clad in a red-and-white clinic T-shirt, Ryan playfully greeted more than 200 students, eager to glean some tips from the budding role model.

Pro Camps, Inc. is operating 27 of the football camps throughout the country this summer for young people, ages 7 to 14.

Selecting an NFL player for the Atlanta camp was a no-brainer, according to Pro Camps rep. Sarah Heekin.

“After such a great season and putting the Falcons back together, we couldn’t have asked for a better partner in Atlanta,” Heekin told us of selecting Ryan.

For his coaching assignment, Ryan also recruited Falcons teammates Justin Blalock and Sam Bakerto help out with the age- specific drills out on the field.

Another distinguishing quality of the camp? It was open to girls as well.
