‘Faces of Meth’ now an app featuring you

Drug addiction is not pretty.

Methamphetamine, in particular, can whoop your face with an ugly stick faster than a 2-minute shake and bake, as the horrifying photos from the “Faces of Meth” campaign proved.

Smoking meth produces toxic gasses that really do a number on skin and teeth. And meth addicts tend to stop doing important things like eating and bathing.

If you’ve ever wondered what you would look like after a few months of hard living, the good folks at Rehabs.com, who put together the aforementioned graphic, got you covered.

They’ve developed a “Your Face on Meth” app that allows you to upload a pic and quickly see how ugly drugs can make you. The app doesn’t show failed relationships, abandoned children, lost careers or foreclosed homes, however.

I’ve posted a picture of myself at right. As you can see, even beautiful people can be destroyed by meth.

If you are already on meth, please be advised this app isn’t going to make you pretty.

For a little extra fun, grab a pic of a friend off Facebook and post the results to their timeline. This is especially hilarious if your friend is a teacher, preacher or works in law enforcement.

Enjoy!

To George, who thinks this app can be “fun.” There’s nothing fun about meth or the effects it has on a person, neither physically or emotionally. When your loved one suffers these effects for 3 years, then you can tell me what part of it was fun.

The best sex you’ll have is with a 20-something yo chick while she’s on meth.

Reminiscent of the “this is your brain on drugs” frying pan TV commercial of years ago. Nothing offensive about it whatsoever, in fact it might rattle some addicts enough to make them quit.
