Housing authority’s ban of U.S. flag overturned

Communists running Wrentham, Mass., public housing were struck a blow Thursday when the state overruled a decision to ban the U.S. flag.
Residents of Garden Lane Apartments were told they got a little too patriotic July 4th and a letter taped to each door July 11 told them the U.S. flag could only be displayed indoors.
The Wrentham Times has a series of articles explaining the series of events.
State Rep. Dan Winslow began looking into it and called Gov. Deval Patrick, who quickly moved to strike down the ban.
“We were not aware of this decision when it was made, and it was a mistake that is being corrected immediately,” the governor said.
Wilson was a little more fired up.
“I am outraged that tax dollars are paying the salary of state employees who do not instantly recognize the idiocy of such a decision. They should be invited to find jobs in the private sector and unemployed veterans hired in their place,” he said.
Good idea, but I bet dollars to almost free doughnuts that that won’t happen.

But what if our flag offends a communist, we should apologize.
If they need health care, you should pay for theirs too (after all you work they only make babies and collect unemployment, get govt housing, EBT, and $1200 a month per child, play on their iphones and watch big flat panel tvs etc… while you get to work). Lucky you!!!
Finally, since all these things are needed to be provided by the hard working capitalists I hate so much, we should go from a country of opportunity with hard work, good decision making and education, to a country of equal results ONLY. You know, make everyone miserable and hopeless. Thats what I’ll be doing if you give me four more……

Follow the link to the July 11 letter. The housing authority apparently didn’t initiate this bonehead move on their own, they were responding to “repeated complaints” from a tenant. Still, caving in and ordering the removal of the flags was weak and unpatriotic.

Old Timer, I see you are just going to answer a question with a question. You should have a list of things with facts to back it up since you dislike everything. All I asked was you name one and back it up with facts. I will answer you when you actually answer me.
