“Be fruitful and multiply” sounds like quite the party until the child support bill arrives.
Just ask poor Desmond Hatchett, a Tennessee volunteer if there ever was one.
WREG-TV in Memphis reports Hatchett, a minimum wage worker from Knoxville, recently asked the court for help in making his child support payments. The 33-year-old man has fathered 30 children by 11 women and is having trouble keeping up with the bills.
Half of his paycheck, the maximum allowed by Tennessee law, is garnished. Some mothers receive $1.49 a month.
How did this happen?
“I had four kids in the same year. Twice,” says Hatchett, who is better with the ladies than the ladies are at picking men.
Hatchett was last in court in 2009 when he had only 21 children and he said he was “done” with making babies.
If he gets relief from making child support payments, perhaps he can use the extra cash for condoms or a vasectomy.
Or for hiring a film crew to make him a reality TV star.

Oh if I was “the government” I’d help him. Sign this paper and we’ll give each kid $50/mth until they are 18. Yes, that’s correct. This paper says that you agree to immediately head to XYZ hospital for a vasectomy.

Who are the women sleeping with him and doing it without condoms? Deadbeat is an understatement, but these women…

These mere words do not convey the rage I feel about individuals who are so thoughtless about their stupid actions and the results especially when they continue to impregnate women and have children that others (i.e., taxpayers) ultimately have to support. This angers me beyond words!!

These women are equally as bad as he is. Shame on all of them.
The kids are the ones we should feel bad for.

Having retired a decade ago from the Child Support Bureau in a major Tennessee, I saw this daily often with 100-300 women petitioning the Court to legitimize their children by numerous absentee parents.
Pastors, preachers, pilots, professional ball players made up the lascivious fathers. Eighty percent of the fathers never paid child support. One case was a ‘preacher who made one court-ordered payment of $100 and never made another. When the child aged out at 18-year old, $22,000.00 in child support arrears were owed. The pastor said he was not a deadbeat dad and wanted to pay a $100.00 to get right with his payments.
The pastor admitted he wanted to polish his tarnished Child Support delinquent case since he wanted to run for office.
The black community fails by the lapses in the instittutuions that should support children: preachers, churches, pols, schools and national black activists.
