Nothing ruins a good party like a thorough drug testing.

How to get free lawn service.
Parents wishing to throw water on Friday’s 420 festivities may wish to seek out the offices of Rural/Metro ambulance services in Roswell.
Rural/Metro, along with anti-drug website notMYkid.org and drug testing company First Check, is handing out testing kits today at 250 Hembree Park Drive in Roswell. The First Check kits test for 12 drugs (seven illicit and five prescription), not just marijuana.
In my hood, 420 means a delicious ale crafted locally by the beer mages at Sweetwater Brewing. But, as any Phish fan will tell you, 420, aka April 20 (and/or 4:20 p.m.) has long been not-so secret code for smoking marijuana.
April 20 has more recently become the day NORML and other organizations have publicized their push to decriminalize marijuana use in the U.S.
A press release advertising the event, which ends at 5 p.m. Thursday (but will resume Friday at 7 a.m. if 650 drug tests don’t go up in smoke), says “notMYkid has found utilizing a drug test in the home helps kids avoid peer pressure situations by empowering them to say, ‘I can’t, my parents might drug test me.’”
That may be true, but I like to think I’d be able to tell if my kid was smoking weed without a kit. Tell-tale signs — an appreciation of better music, the presence of tie-dyed clothing, peace signs or dancing bears — is Gratefully, a Dead giveaway.

@Denial – I’ve smoked since I was 18 (33 now). I woke up, went to the gym, ran a 5K on the treadmill (little chilly this morning) and then lifted weights. I do this 4 days a week, I graduated from Georgia Tech and have had the same job for years now. To each their own, but don’t tell me how it ruins my life or motivation. See everyone at the 420 fest in Candler Park this weekend or maybe Leftover Salmon on Friday!

I am all for legalizing, then use prison labor to farm and sell at gov’t run dispensaries. Tax at 100% of value. Anyone caught with bootleg weed loses the right to purchase legally forever, no exceptions.

Because of this day, two of my baby brothers are in prison for the rest of their life all because they decided they wanted to celebrate 420 by selling weed a few days before this day. The drug deal went bad and my brothers ended up murdering 1 dude and put someone else in a wheel chair for the rest of their life. Becase of their bad choices in wanting to participate in this day, they will now sit in prison for the rest of their lives. Do they deserve it? YES because they killed someone. However, I sure wish this day DIDNT exist…..needless to say, Im totally against 420 day. P.S. My brothers were only 18 and 24 at the time, dude they murdered was only 30 days into his 21st birthday. Sad day all the way around.

if you’re going to be stereotypical, Deadhead equates with psychedelics.

I am 27 now and have been smoking pretty much on a daily basis since I was 16. I graduated from UGA and have a great job making a 6 figure income. I work out 4 days a week and play golf 1-2 days a week. I am a big fan of legalizing weed, but I do think it has its drawbacks.
While there is no recorded physical addiction to marijuana, there is definitely a mental addiction. It is very hard for me not to smoke when I get home from work/gym. The only thing that I want to do when I smoke is sit on the couch, zone out, and watch tv. This doesn’t really help the relationship with my fiance from a conversation standpoint. Although I do very well at my job, I feel that I would do even better if I didn’t smoke so much. I might not sit around looking at AJC and other sites so much and might get a little more work done. All in all…….i love the reefer

Why would you try to scare your kids to not do drugs instead of letting them make a decision on their own…..blaze it 420 and stay in the east coast and don’t even think of coming over here to the west
