For decades I have lived under the assumption that Scooby-Doo served merely as a warning to pets everywhere.

Turns out, the beloved lover of potentially illicit Scooby Snacks is rather typical of his species.
Dogs love marijuana, says non-local vet Jennifer Schoedler. “I’ve seen them eat the buds, plants, joints and marijuana in food.”
Schoedler made the surprise announcement in a Durango (Colorado) Herald article entitled “Vets see more dogs snarfing humans’ medical pot.”
Durango vets say easier-to-come-by weed is “poisoning” man’s best friend.
“We used to see maybe one case a year,” said veterinarian Stacee Santi. “Now we’re seeing a couple a month.”
Marijuana, like chocolate and coffee, is bad for dogs, said Schoedler, and “stoned” pets may require hospitalization.
In Georgia, of course, we won’t have to worry about our pets “snarfing” our plant-based meds and getting sick — marijuana, in all its myriad forms, is illegal here. We also don’t have to worry about the government planting microchips in our brains. Our Legislature, which will soon convene again, is taking care of us.

Apparently some bloggers need to partake in said Scooby snacks in order to discern humor/satire from serious journalism.

This article shows the poor quality of the AJC and this writer, third ranked newspaper at best.

The irrelevant transition mocking the state legislature with a reference to “planting microchips in our brains” is at best uncomfortable.
This maybe be the worst written article of the year.

My ex-brother in-law smoked weed daily and puffed the smoke at the cat. The cat got high and would run around the apartment eventually running into the walls. Then the cat would hump a chair leg, eat dinner and fall asleep. Drug inspired trip!!!!!!!!!!!
