How good is comedian Tina Fey’s impersonation of Republican Sarah Palin?

This just in, Tina Fey is not running for president.
Good enough to fool the former Alaska governor’s network of choice, according to media watchdog Mediaite.com.
Sunday, Fox aired a clip about Palin’s potential entry into the 2012 presidential race but used a picture of Fey from a Saturday Night Live skit.
Fox News released the following statement: “This past Sunday during ‘America’s News Headquarters,’ a graphics error was made during a segment on former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. The producer has since been disciplined and an explanation and apology will be made in the same hour next Sunday. Fox News regrets the error.”
TheWeek.com lists the goof as its best video of the week.
Heads may roll if something similar happens again, Mediaite reports.
A Fox News memo states: “Effective immediately, there is zero tolerance for on-screen errors. Mistakes by any member of the show team that end up on air may result in immediate disciplinary action against those who played significant roles in the “mistake chain,” and those who supervise them. That may include warning letters to personnel files, suspensions, and other possible actions up to and including termination, and this will all obviously play a role in performance reviews.”
Humans make mistakes, fortunately mine aren’t televised.

Maybe Tina Fey should run for president. I mean, anyone who can make me like a show that has Alec Baldwin in it can certainly handle the presidency!

To whomever thinks Tina Fey “owes her career to Sarah Palin,” where have you been? Tina was the first female head writer of SNL, she eventually made a million dollars a year writing for them until she left in 2006, and she wrote/acted in several successful movies and wrote/produced/acted in a critically acclaimed TV show. ALL of this happened long before anyone outside of AK had ever heard of Sarah Palin. Give me a break! Will you Sarah Palin lovers EVER realize that you can’t just rewrite history to suit your needs/wants?

To be fair; when Tina Fey has something serious to say, they will post Sarah’s face.

Hey Trog,
Hate to tell you, but separation of church and state is NOT in the Constitution. Freedom of religion is (even if your religion is “no religion”).
Besides, we all know that when secular (i.e. atheist) fundamentalists like yourself say “separation of church and state,” what you really mean is : “Shutting down the Church, and opening concentration camps for Southern Baptists and other evangelical Christians, complete with Sarin gas and crematories.” You folks need to grow a pair and admit it. I don’t want the church running the state, either (nor do very many other believers (there are crackpots in all aspects of society)): Faith should always be voluntary), nor do I want the government telling me what/who, where, and when I can worship (hasn’t happened yet, but just you wait), and denying my freedoms of speech and religion, by telling me I can’t tell others about my faith (but that’s what you want). If you don’t want to listen, say “no thanks” and walk away.
And by the way, David Barton has forgotten more about U.S. history than you will ever know.

Fox News sucks, anyway- nothing but overopinionated, biased bullcrap and pure propaganda. Between Tina Fey and Sarah Palin, I’ll take Tina Fey, anyday- she’s a very funny and attractive woman. I don’t like Sarah Palin- I have absolutely no respect for people, like her, who kill defenseless wildlife, exploit her own home problems for political gain and basically talks out of her butt, all the time, spewing nothing but grade-A bullcrap.
