Stodgy Brits try to block Girls Gone Wild filming

Nobility yes, “nubility” no.

Research concludes paid girlfriends love cheap caps and T-shirts.

Girls Gone Wild researchers conclude paid girlfriends love cheap caps and T-shirts.

That’s the word out of unjolly old England, which is trying to block the filming of Girls Gone Wild events on the once-important island.

According to an article in The Telegraph, the stodgy fellows who run the area of Newcastle, a town that parties so hard they named a famous beer after it, are asking the “Home Office” (not a tax deduction, but the U.K.’s version of the Department of Homeland Security) to ban the filming of nubile wenches nationwide.

They’ve clearly got their crumpets in a wad. Here’s the text from a motion they’ve concocted:

“This House is deeply concerned that U.S. pornography production company Mantra Films Inc. is filming Girls Gone Wild in the U.K., which approaches young women, many of them intoxicated, in public places, and encourages them to expose their breasts, simulate sex acts and have sex on camera in exchange for Girls Gone Wild merchandise.”

A curious reaction for a country that served as the cradle of capitalism.

A spokesman for the Girls Gone Wild tour said public toplessness is a “really fun celebration of freedom and youthful expression.”

Here’s to all who lift a pint — and shirt — for freedom.

“Britain, unlike the United States, has and appreciation for something cerebral and something with social value in their television programming. Girls Gone Wild is the pinnacle of America’s declaration this all its good ideas are behind it. :

I guess, Ramzad, that the page 6 girls are considered “cerebral”……(or is that page 3?)

GGW might have better luck if they approached Steven Moffat and asked to be a part of Doctor Who. Imagine the drunken buffoon parties you could have in the TARDIS…….

Not sure what the Brits are complaining about…check out Babe Station…comes on at 11:00 every night here in the UK on Free View (which is like basic cable in the USA).

@Goose454: I am not “offended” by news stories since they portray real life events. This blog is not a news story. It’s a piece of trashy commentary. It’s indicative of how the AJC is getting desparate for readers.

And featuring underaged women in porno films aka paedophilia is something that the AJC is promoting and trying to export to the UK? This article smacks of misogyny, pedophilia and xenophobia, you give Georgia a bad name, some please fire George from the AJC.

Have you seen the younger British women lately?!?! They can feed a small nation, if you get my drift. ;)

I guess the Brits are still far behind their counterparts throughout Europe where boobies galore is the order of the day on European television. How can you not like to watch gyrating hotties? That is tantamount to not liking oxygen, in my book anyhow. (Of course, it could be said that my book is Hustler Magazine :P ) Come now, old chaps, what would James Bond do?

I can see that you are a bit overwrought, t, but you really should not make accusations that are totally unfounded. All girls in the productions are certified to be 18 years of age or older. And really, while this obviously isn’t your cup of tea it’s very unfair of you to attack George as he is only trying to make folks smile and not steal their life savings or something equally evil as a person might would think from your post.

lol…..if you think those girls are being filmed against their will, I have a bridge to sell you. Joe Francis has gotten nabbed for tax evasion and that’s about it. I think the guy waving the “pedophilia” flag is saying more about himself. Psycho.

Bottom line: GGW wouldn’t be going there if there wasn’t a market for their product. . .
