Remember the heat President Obama took for filling out NCAA tournament brackets?

I'm picking Kansas to win, bin Laden to lose.
Many pundits argued that he was devoting too much of his time to sports prognostication when he should be solving real problems, like disasters in Japan, the Libyan crisis, or even finding the world’s most infamous terrorist.
Well, it seems Obama is quite the multi-tasker: The same week he was mulling hoops, he was also plotting the May 2 raid on bin Laden’s pig-sty of a mansion.
Business Insider has a good summary, but it seems Obama held a week of top-secret planning meetings beginning March 14. He publicly revealed his tournament picks on ESPN March 15.
Navy SEALS are better at taking out mass murderers than the president is at picking winners. Obama didn’t pick any team that appeared in the Final Four, but the SEALS got their man without suffering a casualty.

Carter – Military fubar in Iran (Eagle Claw) failed to rescue the U.S. hostages.
Reagan – Funneled money to Bin Laden and pals to find the “Communist Menace”.
Bush – Didn’t take out Saddam when there was a legitimate chance to do so.
Clinton – Didn’t take out Bin Laden when there was a chance to do so.
Bush II – Failed to prevent 9/11, took out Saddam when it was unnecessary to do so, and failed to get Bin Laden. Don’t forget “Mission Accomplished”.
Obama – Got it done.
And Ray is a coot.

To the blogger who says Obama looks out of place in the picture. It is obivious that you are misinform because all the others in that picture with years of military experience told him not to do it because it was too risky. Obama said “I am going to do it” now how is that for you as a military planner. Do your research before you speak….

George Bush turned down the invitation to appear with Obama at ground zero for good reason, if he had shown up libs would make the claim Bush was trying to take credit away from Obama. We all know it was the military who deserves credit and it was the Bush who said the military will not stop until UBL is killed, Obama can’t do anything to get people motivated and proud to be American.

had this gone bad and seals gotten killed – there would’ve been lynch mobs in DC that night. But it went well and the US got the world’s most wanted man. Great LEADERSHIP from our president and commander in chief. Not taking anything away from Bush’s efforts and progress, but Obama closed the deal. Proud of our CIC

@Machsta- Don’t be a bleeding idiot. While Obama’s military advisers were actually plotting the details of the SEAL raid, Obama was at the very least mulling the geopolitical repercussions of the attack, not the least of which was Pakistan’s reaction.
If it’s too cerebral for you, I’ll spell it out. This is why presidents have cabinets, full of experts and aids that assist on specific issues.
YOU saw a “kid sitting at the adult table at Thanksgiving”, but then again you’re obviously an Obama hater, so your opinion is worth only so much. I saw a president heavily focused on the task at hand.
