UPS delivers 5 pounds of marijuana
Atlanta-based UPS is known for its ability to get any package anywhere.
Once, they delivered giant whale sharks from Taiwan to Atlanta. And some pandas from China.
UPS delivered bamboo-smoking pandas from China to Atlanta in 2009.
Big Brown’s task was not so difficult recently in Upper Darby, Pa., which, as most cartography students know, is just above Lower Darby.
There, the UPS man delivered 5 pounds of marijuana to an “elderly couple,” according to the local CBS station.
The couple opened the package and found what police describe as “high quality” marijuana worth about $22,000.
They called the cops, which was wise. I surmise many recipients of such a package would be morally tested to do the same.
The return addresses on the package were fake, which indicates the person who shipped it is not a complete idiot.
