We love fat pets, according to the Wall Street Journal, a daily tome that keeps track of such things.
Crestor is his Ace up his sleeve.
It makes sense a Krispy Kreme-lovin’, exercise-hating society that is itself busting at the seams would have chubby furry pals. According to the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention more than half of all dogs and cats are overweight, 20 percent are obese, a kinder way of saying “really fat.”
The pets are doing better than their two-legged friends – WebMD says 63 percent of Americans are overweight, 36 percent obese — but only because they can’t open the fridge themselves at 2 a.m. and grab a midnight ice cream snack.
Or perhaps they have secret access to these $600 puppy treadmills?

Thank you Dr. Cheryl. I will feed my Newfoundland that cottage cheese and celery diet and see how he does.

Everything in moderation is fine. I smoke 3 cigarettes a day, and smoke a little weed and do a little coke here and there. I’m as healthy as they come. Chocolate and onions are fine as a treat for dogs. As long as people and their pets don’t overdo it then they will be very healthy.

How’d you get so smart about dogs, Frank? Are you a vet or something? Tell us more. My dog keeps butt surfing on the carpet. You got an answer to my problem, Dr. Frank? I say let your pets eat whatever the hell they want, even if it is a double whopper with cheese and extra onions. Hell, they don’t live that long anyway.

I bet Cheryl is a fat ass. It’s always the fat ones that like to give dieting advice. I guess since they’ve had the most practice with them.

I think that a cat with a gambling problem is much worse than one with a few extra pounds.

@thomas breeman-yes, both chocolate and onions can be toxic to pets. Chocolate depends upon the type and amount. Dark chocolate is the most toxic and small amounts can be fatal. Also-onions can cause a fatal anemia (low red blood cells). As a Veterinarian, I do not recommend anyone feed their pets chocolate or onions. Beware also of grapes and raisens. They can cause kidney failure and there is no determined amounts that can cause problems. If humans want to feed their pets human food, please stick to lean chicken (white meat only, not fried), fish (not fried), white meat turkey (again, not fried), veggies (other than onions), and rice/pasta.

@ Thomas Breeman- Onions damage a dog’s kidneys. I’m sure the oil used to batter the onion isn’t great either. If you love your dog, give him bits of granny smith apples-my dog loves them!
